First choice is Mountain Dew though. That is my morning coffee.

Blech!! I'll take crab juice!

Question is, who here likes warm coke?? Not hot, but slightly above room temperature. You can just feel your teeth dissolving, but it ain't that bad.

But the all time winner in soft drinks (for me) has got to be Root Beer. Any type, I like them all. The best is when it comes out of a barrel, mm mmm.

Coca cola for me.

Didn't they use coca leaves in the original recipe?

Apparently, the two stimulants in the original recipe for coke were coca leaves and kola nuts. Coca leaves haven't been in the recipe for over a century now though.

How would you know. Isn't the recipe secret.

Yup, I've heard about the coca leaves in the recipe. If they were secretly still adding coca leaves that would explain why it tastes so horrible :D

coca cola still imports a few hundred kilos of coca leaf into the us which they then "de-concainise" (but where does that all go to, cia?) and use for flavorings.

i prefer to just make tea from real coca leaves, or kola nuts even, coca tea is a fine stimulant and quite healthy. hell the leaves are chocked full of vits and minerals and are like 20% protein....
i dont drink pop anymore though, but at one point i was easily going through a 12 pack of dew a day.....

also, diet soda is prob the worst thing possible for ya, aspartame is horrible shit. that and any pop w/ citric acid (or any acid) and sodium benzoate can form benzene to way above "safe" levels if it gets warm...hurray for more cancer!
