I was visiting my family in Alabama and I'm riding down the road with my brother. I look out the window, and did a quick double take. My head snapped around so fast I nearly hurt my neck. My brother laughs, and says "Oh, you saw that. I was wondering if you'd notice." It seems there was a pilot program and a few farmers were permitted to grow hemp. It was September, so they were in full bud. He told me a bunch of people he knew had snuck in and stole some. Looked good, smelled good, but no buzz.
That might be a problem - people getting sold hemp at $300 an ounce - thinking its a high THC 'erb - Then trying to find that 'placebo' high - lol

there was a news article most recently where NYC cops thought they had a massive bust of high grade vermont grown marijuana shipped through the mail....turns out it was hemp, grown by a NYC collective for a CBD infused product line........Ignorance in blue is astonishing and i bet a little bit embarrassing!
Not at all. If grown well, it's indistinguishable from high THC plants.

This stuff barely had a smell and it certainly wasn't like normal weed. More like my Hemp shirt when it's wet. lol
I think you could pass it off as CBD weed though.

Hemp does contain cbd tho.
hemp does contain cbd, at least the eu registered strains were bred for low thc(0.3%) and no limit on cbd.

the hemp a friend grew this year varied wildly in appearance. some varieties looked just like big buds on a stick like some autos, others looked like multi-bud sativa bushes about waist high. one type was apparently over the .03 % thc limit, and got torn down & "disposed" of PDQ...

Lots of kids smoking dank hemp these days. Kids would sell oregano to their friend of course their buying that fungicide laced tweedlefarms farms trash and calling it Cookies. Kinda fits the whole corporate legalization scheme:create a future of bullshit-smoking customers.
Personally cbd feels like the heart is creeping into the neck,the entire buzz is like a bad onset waiting for the buzz. Or maybe it's all the organic fungicides who knows.

I grew GG4. To me that looks mangy. Isn't industrial hemp even worse. Is that what that is, or a high CBD, and less than .5% strain?
That's why I cringe when I see all this 20 to 1 cbd thc weed it's fucking worthless for smoking I wonder how many will pay high dollar for that crap what a waste even high thc weed sucks bad sometimes why the fuck try to grow cbd?

Some of the Farmers here in Vermont grew fields of Hemp this year. All Female plants too. I always thought Hemp was grown "real tight" without much space between the plants - but not up here. They grow it spaced out in rows... I used to bring my Mother to a Hydroponic Tomato Farm but it was sold & converted to a Hemp Farm. I've seen hundreds of hemp plants this year in my travels & I can't tell the difference between Hemp & Marijuana. I think it would have to "Lab Tested"...
Extracted CBD oil is as expensive as THC oil, and can be sold anywhere for health purposes. It is as good for pain as opioids.

Greetings Rev. I thought about putting Hemp around my plants as decoys for rippers, but worried it would catch LEO attention, as we have a plant limit where I'm at. Some of those cbd, legal hemp plants look like real killer buds, but the seeds are were pretty expensive. I figured better off buying the real deal.
Looking forward to your grow next year. Hope you get some early flowering girls.

I haven't seen a hemp crop that didn't have males. Just go for a walk in it and collect some node seeds.Greetings Rev.
