Wut it do Y? just slidin thru yo, that butter look tasty, how long you cook it for? I remember I fallowed the directions from someone on this site, cooked for 3 hours and that was the most potent butter I ever made. Try makin some betty crocker cookie brownies, they call for 2 sticks of butter in the recipee..

Guys I gotta chime in on the "How long does butter last" thing.
I've been working in kitchens since I was 10-11 yrs old and have never seen anyone throw butter away because it was bad. Normal butter doesnt really go bad. Canna Budda on the other hand, I think would tend to go rancid after awhile because of all the new impurities in it, but it has been boiled down and by doing so has killed off any bacteria. Another option would be to freeze it. It should last forever. One would think.

:laughing: :laughing: :laughing: very nice butter Y, looks good...Im gonna have to agree w/ CD on this one and say if u freeze it, it should last 4ever...I keep my reg butter at room temp ALL the time, so its soft, and that stuff never goes bad...NOW, and CD, chime in if u like...IF you are usin "real" butter, like from France or a nice local Organic butter....that stuff can go bad only because it has a higher ratio of butterfat, and its alot fresher...but Ive never seen ANY butter go bad...sorry... :rant: :bashhead: :bashhead:

Zeuss, you are exactly correct. Butter from France is much much higher in fat. In the U.S. I have only seen U.S.D.A. AA grade butter, while butter from France would be like AAAA-AAAAA grade butter. A long time ago the Europeans found a way to keep their butter fresher, longer, and it's by using water and ceramic or china as a coolant. It's called a "Butter-Bell". The way it works is that you take and tuck up all your butter inside a ceramic bell, wich in turn is kept up-side down in a crock of cold water. Because the water is cooler and airtight, bacteria wont survive even when kept say, in a root cellar.
The boy named sous thread was just a bit too much for me. I'll get back to it someday, but some of those memories were vicious. But I geusss you take the good with the bad as well. But for now I want to focus on my growing skills, not my story telling skills, I'll save that for the campfire at the next Nugs and Jugs. :muahaha: :laughing:
edit: I totally forgot to add that most Organic dairy products aren't pasteurized or they are, but at a lower heat and thats why the U.S.D.A. doesnt recognize em. Most dairy products from France are the same way and thats why the higher content of butterfat will go rancid faster.

Which brand & type of pyrethrum bombs did you get?

When I moved to the new spot, I eyed the "PCO Fogger" and the "Prescription Treatment Brand" cans... I don't recall the exact numbers off the top of my head, but I do know that the PCO can was about 2x as large as the PTB, but quite a bit lower percentage on the active ingredients. The PTB also contained petroleum distillates; I can't remember whether the PCO did, but if it did it was much, much lower in concentration.

In short, I got the feeling that the PCO is a much gentler version that could safely be used with plants (and closer to living areas), with the PTB more likely to be the "nuclear bomb" to use in between runs. I didn't feel all that comfortable getting the PTB for preventative use, and thought I'd keep it in mind only for known infestations. Also wasn't so comfortable with the petroleum distillates for using in an occupied garden, but then again I have no idea how bad it really is or isn't.

The PTB was also a bit more than 2x the price of the PCO.

I'd like to chime in from some comments on the last page. First butter looks good Y. Cd, Zeus. Canna-butter molds. Try it. I bet I'm right. Leave some canna-butter on your counter for a few weeks. I just had to throw out some canna-butter that was a few months old because when i used it last i didn't put it back in the fridge and forgot it off in the corner of the kitchen and when i found it like three days later shit had mold growing in it. Also some butter that I did not make at a friends house molded out and he just kept it on the counter. He had it there on the counter for almost two weeks, I don't know how old that butter was but when I went to look at it, it wasn't pretty. I agree that I have never had any normal butter or margerine mold out on me before. Most likely it's due to being altered and adding "plant" material to it, why it is susceptible to molding. Alrighty then. Late

wattup fam,the butter is off the ringer yo.it had me in a coma,and i woke up still feelin it a lil bit after a few hrs nap.i put a spoon in some oatmeal and was waitin for it to hit...i was like man i hope i did it right ...then all the sudden im sittin here crackin the hell up watchin porkys LOL . after the buzz hit real nice i was super relaxed yo,just knocked the hell out.so im happy with the results fam.its not bad for a first timer....;)

C-town- ya know what yo i havnt even looked at them that close to tell ya the truth.i just told the guy at the shop and he gave me the ones the y had, he said thats what i wanted though.i'll snap a pic for ya bofore i set them off bro.

Yep, thats the same recipee, that shit work hella good. I gave my girl one uh them brownies and she woke up still high, said she was fucked up the whole day at work! Im a lightweight but when I ate one I was stuck on the couch for about 30-40 hours. Almost too potent. Good shit. Ima make some more for my grandma probly tomarrow..

naa bro not after ya add the trim yo.you just boil a few cups of water (5 per lb of butter i been told)after the water is boilin add the butter and turn it down to melt the butter dont burn the butter.then after the butter is melted add the trim,simmer it for 3 hrs till it gets like thick and dark like black at the top.then drain thru the cheese cloth and chill overnight drain the water in the morning and get baked yo.peace -Y-
