I checked the reservoir before watering her today and the PH had risen to 6.1 and I watered her at 5.8 yesterday.

So I PHed todays solution to 5.5

We'll see what it is tomorrow and if it has risen significantly, I may have to feed her at an even lower PH.

I checked my PH today and it had risen up again.

I made more solution and PH'ed it down lower,..

I checked the PH of my closet plant today and it was at 6.02, so the lower PH of yesterday's watering seems to have worked.

I did drain the reservoir twice and PH it back down then poured it through again.

Today, I decided to use just RO water and see what the PH comes out at.
I got this,..

Then I poured it through and drained some off to take a reading and got this,..

So I seem to be it the right ballpark.
I'll see what the PH is tomorrow and maybe start using gutted RO water from now on?

You check ph and ec multiple times a day already, dunno why u were afraid coco is too much work. I make my nutes in advance for days, so i do less work.

Yeah, it's not too bad.

I did spend a couple of hours messing around yesterday draining and PHing both the closet and window plant, but it was just 20 minutes for the closet plant today.

It will be nice if the RO water keeps things within the right range, then I can just check the numbers once in a while.

I learned with my last plant that I can't ignore the PH, but I discovered it quite late and the PH was up to 7.1 before I noticed it, and a bunch of my leaves were dying that I thought was just from the bright lights.

I noticed that the PPM in my window plant was quite high at more than 1200 so I just added water.
It's quite easy to PH the window plant because I can just add PH down to the open reservoir without siphoning it out of the container.

I just need to get I to get into the routine of doing it and hopefully just switching to RO water is all I need to do.

I may start doing that especially since the closet plant is getting really thirsty, and now both the plants are using the flowering nutes so they both use the same stuff.

Just check and make sure your ph doesnt vary too much while sitting. Mine stays within 0.2 PH for days. With very pure water as you are using I would expect it to be even more stable, but better to check it so you know for sure.

OK, thanks.

First I have to see how the RO water works over the next few days to see if the reservoir PH stays in range.

I may have to add some tap water to the mix if the RO gets it too low.

I made more solution the same as yesterday with RO water and poured it through, then checked it after it drained through to the bottom and got this,..

So the numbers are looking good.
I'll do the same for a few days and if the numbers stay stable I'll make up a 15 liter bottle of solution.
