🤣 Just a bit of personal grooming, man. She can take it.

Yeah, she doesn't need them.

There is plenty of light and smaller leaves for photosynthesis.

Those leaves were blocking light from getting to the buds and smaller leaves.
Now the small leaves can feed the flowers and the light can get to them.

It's an hour before lights out, and she is usually flaked out by now but she still looks awake for the most part.

She's drooping towards the bottom and on the right side a bit, but not like she was before.

She's awake now, but the branch on the right is still droopy.
I don't know what's going on with that?

My plant really slowed down with her drinking.
There's still 1 3/4" of water left in the reservoir.

She used to finish it up by morning.

There has been a lot of changes recently.
I trimmed a bunch of leaves 2 days ago as well as turned on all the fans. (2 circulation fans and the exhaust fan). I also changed her nutes yesterday, and turned the lights up a bit brighter.

I think that she is transpiring a lot less without the leaves, and there's cooler drier air being blown into the closet now which is probably blowing any extra CO2 out of the closet.

So, I turned off the exhaust fan to keep it warmer and more humid in the closet.

The plant still looks fine and has stopped falling asleep (for the most part,) so I'm not concerned.
She is probably finding balance with that available light and amout of total leaf surface that she now has, but I want to keep it a bit warmer and wetter in the closet so that she doesn't slow down her growth.

The two circulation fans should be good enough to prevent mold because of the airflow, and it's winter now which should help a lot with that too.

It's warmer in the closet now and I can smell the plant now.

The RH didn't go up along with the temperature and I'm in the red again on the VPD chart, but I'm not concerned about that.

She's ready for more water.
She seems to be drinking half as fast now.

I think that the purple strips are the veins or arteries that are connected to the older fan leaves that the plant is shutting down?
I think that the fan leaves got too much light and the stems are completely purple as a reaction?
Maybe a bit of necrosis showing as purple?

Perhaps if the purple is a result of low P then maybe it's because the plant is pulling the P out of the fan leaves where it is no longer needed and sending it elsewhere?

My plant is getting roughly 45,000 lumens right now.

I don't know about the lux.
It's kinda hard to measure.
The numbers are all over the place as I move the meter around the closet.

It's just before lights out and she is still wide awake...

It's quite a bit warmer and drier in the closet now...

She drank 2" of water in the past 14 hours, so she's almost back to normal drinking.

She's getting a pretty fat trunk.

I moved the big circulation fan to give me more room to push the planter in further to be more centered in the closet, but now the fan is blowing on the side wall, cooling off the LED strips and changing the current again.

The lights just shut off for 6 1/2 hrs...

top job, mate... amazing how it blooms

Thanks :thank you:

She's really looking good, and she's drinking 2 liters a day again.

I just kinda stumbled into a method of growing that really seems to be working for me.

I'm really keen on copious amounts of light. Lol

She seems to taking to it fine.

I love the look of the purpling of the leaf stems.
