For those that grew up in Seattle in 60's - 70's nothing was more important then being a Patches Pal so I am sorry to say the guy who brought JP Patches to life Chris Wedes passed away this morning.

It was always cool when JP Patches read your name on the show on your birthday (after your mom had mailed it in)

My friends that didn't grow up here in Seattle don't quite get it, but those of us born & raised do
