As long as your paranoid only while your high and its worry about logical things like your neighbor might call the cops on you, or your girl is cheating(sane local frame of reference is usually healthy paranoia) then your fine if you start making stuff up(no this doesnt apply to me everything i posted on this forums is true check it out) like you think your neighbor is a CIA operative thats gonna pop a cap in yo az when he jumps out a bowl of rice then you may have problems. its been said before but true...its growing that makes people paranoid not smoking...if weed were as legal as parsley for example why would there be reason to be paranoid? Yeah i agree it brings things to light and and in some cases helps people to be more enlightened...as well as pain relief..for me it helps me step back a second and look at situations that piss me off and stops me from doing something OTT. most strains dont make me paranoid unless its a very very hyper sativa cut early or something like that...

Paranoia is bad. Using your head and making sure all bases are covered is good. The latter can help relieve some paranoia too, and will be what keeps you out of jail. I think paranoia is bad when growing, because it stops a person from making logical decisions. It's being smart that lets people grow without fear of being caught.

Paranoia is the result of a government gone bad. I was paranoid once. Now i just don't obey the laws that i don't agree with. Its nice to not give a rats ass.

I try to keep a healthy balance. I listen to a lot of Tool whenever I'm driving a long long distance with anything I wouldn't like to be caught with, also smoke a little buds, just for stress and nerves, but then I make sure I don't smell at all. Take the proper precautions and you're good.

Tool is great though, keeps my mind straight. Choosing compassion over fear and shit like that.

I keep alert, but I try to have fun with it. When I go to the hydro store for supplies, I park across town and walk there, wearing a cap and dark glasses.

Here are my suggestions to get rid of paranoia:

First of all, like my elementary school teacher said when I bitched about getting detention, if you can't do the time don't do the crime. Since I don't want to go to jail I keep my grows strictly personal so if caught I'll only get a fine... Of course in some (barbaric) jurisdictions this may not be possible and to those people I can only say I feel for you.

Second, remember that what we are doing is not wrong! We have nothing to be ashamed of if caught.

And let's not forget that cannabis will be legalized soon, and I'll refuse to believe anything else.
