i think a bit of paranoia can be good , just don't overdo it:D

Like i have this neighbour whith whom i would REALLY like to have a word , fucking douchebag , comes complaining on newyears eve that we are firing fireworks

Well i really would like him to know what a DICk i think he is and i wanna tell him if you come on my property one more time without useing the FRONT door I'll kick your ass , but i just can't and keep smiling and saying hello cuz i got plants growing and in the past i am sure he has seen and smelled my greenhouse plants

So about things like this i can get paranoid , you never know if he really knows and would use it in case of conflict

Weed can be a real handicap sometimes , oh well just vape more weed to calm down and forget about it

Paranoia is based in fear, and fear is eradicated by knowledge of that which you fear, experience, and confidence.

For many people time increases those 3, so paranoia is reduced, however coping mechanisms are often strongest when you're younger, so for some people time makes dealing with fear more difficult, leading to depression and anxiety and paranoia.

The answer is totally dependent on the persons life-experience . . . there is no one answer for everyone, nor is there a majority answer.

I agree with the consensus of, less paranoia as age goes up.

I've never been the "paranoid one" but I've rolled with a few over the years. I believe a fair number of "young noids" continue to smoke because they want to live the life and hang with the crowd. As people mature out of adolesence, and young adulthood, peer pressure matters less.

This is when most "noids" quit smoking. Ask 30, 40, or 50 year old people if they smoked pot when they were young, ask the ones that said yes why they quit. Quite a few will mention paranoia.

Respect,

Only been smoking for about 21 years, got started on it late in life. I know paranoia can be induced by strains of certain lineages. But when I first started smoking, I never had paranoia; friends I introduced to cannabis almost always did with the strains I smoked. I told them to "do the drug, don't let it do you".

About 15 years ago, a good friend and good fellow smoker/grower went through a divorce in his mid-40s, and he told me that all cannabis did for him at that point was to induce paranoia. We were smoking the same stuff, and I was fine. Fast-forward to now, I went through a divorce and other fun stuff, and I'm starting to find that cannabis makes me anxious, edgy, and weird. I prefer to smoke Central American sativas and sativa dom hybrids.

Maybe it's just accumulated experience/stress that are the triggers, but I have to agree with my old buddy, it's becoming less and less enjoyable to smoke.

Maybe it's just accumulated experience/stress that are the triggers, Consider this possibility; prolonged high stress may change your body chemistry. If your body chemistry has changed, that would probably be enuf to make you react poorly to the same strains that you enjoyed in the past.

For what it's worth, I recommend Apollo 11.:smoweed:

Ive been smoking well over 30 years. I was never very paranoid to begin with but always alert and careful.

At my present age, I find that I am far less careful then I should be at times, especially smoking in the car (which is a guaranteed bust everytime). Perhaps it's more of a "I just don't wanna live this hyprocritical life anymore" attitude.

Other peoples opinions matter less and less to me. Especially when it comes to cannabis.

I'm over 60 and smoking since the late 60's. no paranoia here. There's no reason for me to be paranoid about anything.
