Panama Red, Panama Red,
He'll steal your woman then he'll rob your head.

Panama Red, Panama Red,
His white horse Mescalino, comes breezin' thru town.
Bet his woman's off in bed with ol' Panama Red.

You just don't know when Red's in town,
he keeps well hidden underground.

Everybody's gettin' crazy fallin' out 'n' hangin' round.
My woman said, "Hey Pedro, you're actin' crazy like a clown."
Nobody feels like workin' Panama Red is back in town.

Everybody's lookin' out for him cause they know Red satisfies.
Little girls love to listen to him sing & tell sweet lies.
But when things get confusin' honey, you're better off in bed.
Cause I'll be searchin' all the joints in town for Panama Red.

CBF, man does that bring back memories of the olden daze. We use to be able to buy that at will. Then dissapeared off the face of the earth. Is that TFD's Panama Red? And if you didn't train, do you think it would be a super tall plant? You've really got my interest with this one.

lol teresa, thanks for commin by.

smokey, this plant was bent over on itself twice while flowerin, she was flowered from sprout 12/12. she started in a 12 oz cup, then to a half gallon and then to the 1 or 11/2 gallon to finish. so I restricted her root growth as well. i think she would have easily doubled the dwarf plant in there with her, and was able to bring it in at 36 inches untrained little xmas tree.

by restrictin the root growth some I think you could bring a nice 6 ft plant in under a 1000W boomer.

these were done in a 4ft ceilin, with two 400W HPS hortilux fancy spectrum lamps.

been talkin with my benafactor and think we will have some lemon thai, congolese, and castromans cohiba F1s next go here in sept. really lookin forward to the Cohiba, as its rumored the columbian pheno within the population is a very hard hittin long lastin head. another that many will not smoke:yes:

lmk if you might wanna give a cut a run after I see how they smoke. the Dwarf im lettin go longer. when i toked the PR way back in NY i remember the bud bein funny lookin. the sativa vineyness is what I had remembered. actually looks alot like dalat bud, but had been told that the PR had a asian appearance. TOS who keeps his own line of PR had said that these plants were the real deal. and im sure you know who I get the beans from, just he"d rather stay unknown.

DJ Short;= Panama Red

From what I've gathered, Panama Red comes from any number of brash entrepreneurs who have damned the tides of oppression and grown copious amounts of primarily good old Colombian Red seeds in the wonderfully situated country of Panama, or any of her many isles.

Located a mere eight or nine degrees north of the equator, this tropical paradise has a coast on both the Pacific or the Caribbean Sea, without much distance between them, but a lot of elevation. The Panama Red that I am accustomed to was similar to the Colombian Red, but airier – not as compressed. It had a unique island flavor to it, with a spicy/sweet Sativa rush. Some called it the Tequila of herb, as it produced a high that greatly lowered inhibitions, creating a desire to consume more until it was too late!

For some drinkers, the Panama Red did not mix too well with alcohol, but for most it was a pleasant party high.

I did grow some seeds of Panama Red on more than one occasion. The plants were of the medium bushy character of the Colombian Red, with a little more hermaphroditism, and very long flower cycle (12 weeks indoor, late November outdoors). Unfortunately, however, this was at the same time that I was also growing the famed Highland Thai and new Afghan plants that were so unique, new and powerful, and the Panama Red became neglected.

P.Red - was the pot they scored/smoked in the movie 'Apocalypse Now'
