Panama Haze

I was getting ready to start some of the ACE Panama reproduction I made a few years back and then I remembered I had this Pack of Cannabiogen Panama regs that are quite old so I thought I'd pop these instead hoping they're still viable. I know that the PCK apparently started with stock from Cannabiogen but did the Panama start there as well and from the same source? @dubi

Yes it did,
Dubi explains the lines in the Potcast episode, seems Charlie from Cannabiogen worked the Panama line to incorporate 3 different Panama lines in a 3way hybrid. He bred it until F6 or F7, then Dubi worked it further to F10 where he got the Goddess pheno used in the latest Panama hybrids. I would say it's a very rafined line which still has variety in it, not very inbred even at F10. Superb line if you ask me... great by itself and great in most hybrids.

Cheers

Hey Dubi,
already smoking on some ThaiXPanama, which I think I let go for a bit too long (14wks). Foxtails all around! It's great up! smoke first but the second half of the joint puts you on your buttocks ;-)
Panama Haze is coming along nicely, less stretch than expected and at 4 weeks roughly rn. will take pics shortly if I can find my camera hahaha

Panama Haze!!
I really hope this plant finishes as well as it's done up until now... still green and no mold, no unhealthy spots despite the very challenging (foggy and windy, municipal water) conditions in which its growing.

Im chasing after a Panama haze plant that I grew in 2019 that was hands down my favorite smoke ever. I think it was probably a haze dominant, maybe green haze as there was no purple. It had wispy buds with an intoxicating unforgettable aroma that I can conjure in my mind without smelling it. The effectecs were long lasting and simply made everything awesome. It was a guaranteed permanent smiley face for 3 hours. I've tried a few other pan haze seeds and haven't found a match. This one has the smell and the vigor, but the buds are notably fatter...I've got my fingers crossed.

Just because I mentioned it earlier, here are some pics of my Panama Haze at roughly 8 weeks of 11/13.
It's the one in the pot front right. I did some hard training at the beginning of flower, so she's more like horizontal towards back/left

Hello everyone, a pleasure to be here again, as I was able to see that these genetics from Ace seeds grow a lot, I wanted to do an experiment this year and germinate on August 9 to try to prevent them from getting too big, taking into account that the flowering will be longer because it germinated so late, from left to right the first plant is panama haze, the next two are panama x malawi and the last one is Malawi x Panama, the photo is just the first month since it germinated, the plants are one month old 4 hours of direct sun and indirect light in the shade all day

The plants are already 6 weeks old from germination, the vigor of these F1 varieties are very powerful, from left to right, Panama Haze, the next two Panama x Malawi and the last Malawi x Panama. This photo is from September 21.

Photos from October 9, two months since germination, the stretching is amazing and seems to not end, it still does not want to start flowering, very tall plant with very long and flexible branches

Very nice pheno @Chevy cHaze  i like a lot the traits she holds, thanks for sharing pics! Curious to know at the end of the show whether you like more Panama crossed with Oldtimer's Haze or with Thai Chiang Mai.

Glad to know you have such fond memories on your 2019 Panama Haze @Foggy420 🥰 Btw, i don't recall seeing pics of her, hope this year Panama Haze turns out at least as good.
Thanks for reminding me. I was looking for those pictures myself and now I remember my phone camera broke so I used my regular camera. After digging it out of the bottom of a drawer I found the pics of the Panama Haze from 2020 (not 2019 as I thought) that I'll have to chase til I find it again.

These were taken in mid October which was harvest day for all he other plants I had at this spot. This Panama haze didn't finish until mid November. Unfortunately no pics at harvest time. The late harvest and wispy buds make me think it was OTH dominant.

Getting close, throwing foxtails. Heavy buds and sticky leaves. Has that Panama Haze smell.

Hola amigos, Panama Haze with two months and three weeks since germination, tall and more compact plant compared to Haze x Kali China, flowering from now on is going very fast and it seems that the flowers will be a good size

Hola de nuevo amigos, Panama Haze With three months since germination, a very large plant, tall and with a strong, robust and flexible structure and long branches, I think it will be the most productive of all, the flowers do not stop growing and gaining weight very quickly, lime and lemon very good floral density, the flowers At this rate they will be quite large, I think this phenotype has a lot of panama, at the moment there are no purple colors, it loves feeding with many nutrients, Haze x kali china did not tolerate as much fertilizer as panama haze, the smell is subtle of lemon species a little floral and incense, it reminds me of the smell that Super Malawi Haze gives off in combustion, that smell of incense that looks good

Beautiful all your Panama crosses this year @El Quijote excellent cares and feeding regime, not overfeed, neither showing deficiencies in flowering stage, not easy outdoors in small-moderate pots

As expected, Panama Haze will need more time than Malawi x Panama and Panama x Malawi under same growing conditions. Now in flowering your Panama is indeed showing more Panama influence with such pistils and meaty buds, she is probably Green Haze x Panama if she haven't shown yet any pigmentation, although we are in 'San Miguel summer' here with unusual high temps, sativas are loving it! ;)

Hello @dubi, thank you very much, I really liked Panama x Bangi, not to mention it is one of my favorite varieties, I love lemon terpenes, so I want to explore everything that Panama has ☺, yes with the summer of San Miguel it is still quite hot during the day but the Panama Haze is beginning to show very small shades of purple as the nights get colder, and the smell of lemon, incense and spices is increasing, the flowers are getting quite fat, there are almost no small flowers, they are flowers large good size.

Hola amigos, Panama Haze It is already coming to an end, the nutrients are running out, a very productive plant is going to be the most productive girl and the largest flowers this year, now it is starting to get small purple pigmentations, it smells a lot like lemon and like orange peel species, wood, incense and smell like red fruits, the flowers are getting harder and they don't stop pouring resin, she looks very good, these last few days I can handle the strong winds and the rains very well, she is a strong girl
