Panama Haze

Thanks guys. I hope I don’t screw this one up. Been having some issues trying to make everyone in the tent happy with their food. I noticed a few spots and then it progressed rather fast the past couple days. Seems to be on the older leaves that are now closer to the lights after tying the tops down.

I ended up putting on the same tank as my Congo Bangi haze since it had higher calcium levels than the main tank after a similar deficiency.

After some research I’m starting to wonder if it’s not a manganese deficiency because of the yellowing? It’s been a difficult time adjusting to my new Samsung led boards. Went from 1200w Hps to 1000w 3000k leds.

Finally got the temps and humidity in a better place so hope that will help as well.
Fingers crossed this won’t get much worse, it is a beautiful plant

Hi MountainKush,

Looks to me like a blend of lack of N macronutrient along with probably Ca and Mn deficiencies. Is your source of water very low in EC (RO) ? What kind of ferts are you using ? chemical or organic ?

My guess, N uptake lockdown because of low Ca, so add Calcium nitrate and mag sulfate, might help them bounce back.
Cheers

Thanks guys
I’m growing in coco using general hydroponics FloraMicro & FloraBloom with some calimagic and I switched the feed line for this plant to one that had more calmag in it a few days ago so I’ll see if it slows down.
I could try just increasing the base food as that has plenty of cal and mag but didn’t want to also increase the nitrogen too much.

My water is from a natural spring that got tapped and I’m not sure what’s in it. But the EC is 0.3(140ppm) and PH6.9-7. Best drinking water Ive ever had. There is usually a line up to get it and people come from pretty far away to get some. I really should have it tested though.

From what I read these leds cause the plant to use a lot of calcium and magnesium so makes sense. I had a similar issues already with the Congo3 Bangi except no yellowing and it responded well to the extra calmag so hopefully this one will too.

Nice pheno scored MK!

I m running a little one in a 1,5 lt pot 11/13 from seed just to get a glimpse of this cross and looks a lot more panama influenced...I've had trouble keeping her green,it didn;t like the small pot but maybe also a very lime coloured expression.

Thanks syd
I don’t think you can wrong with any phenos from this cross. Hope yours is doing better than mine. I almost didn’t want to post again because I was so sad with how things have been going for me.

8 weeks and you can see near the top where the leaves completely fried and a new little top stretched up from there. That happened on almost every top
picture.php

At 10 weeks those tops are still flowering but most of the middle and bottom are finishing up. Beautiful lemony smell but soft and subtle compared to some other panama hybrids.
This is from the lowest branch

MK I'm inlove with your plant!

My small one looks ok,maturing slowly now...Idk but I find so much relevance in OTH crosses terpenes with original haze and dutch hazes terps...It may not be the same line (I'm not believing anything before I see phylos results from Sams haze wink wink)but the terpenes are there...Do I have to spell "incense " ?

Hi MountainKush,

Despite some problems with the leaves and feeding, she is producing very nice spears and the lower bud looks very advanced, resinous and ripè so hopefully the flowering won't take too long.

Lovely gardening job Syd, love the way you managed to keep her so small and tamed.
Glad you are finding the enticing incense Haze terps we all Haze fanatics love so much :D
Best wishes for the rest of the flowering!

Thanks Dubi, the parts that didn’t get messed up are doing pretty good.

11 weeks
Other than the new little tops that popped up, the rest of the plant is pretty much done. Had a small sample in my vaporizer that was promising. Slight lemon with this decorative soap Kinda taste that’s hard to describe. Nice clear effect but can’t really describe as I was drinking and smoking other strains at the time.

Love the orange hairs on this one

Looks wonderful MountainKush :yummy: Really nice pheno, early flowering enough and super resinous like Panama Goddess, with an extra tropical sativa touch from Oldtimer's Haze!

Can you bring some of that hash for tonight RED1 ? :D

I will end up falling in love with Spain, after a few puffs, regadless of which hash you choose to start with :)
With spring around the corner, the minute I land,I'll be auto 'climatising' myself, looking for a spot to plant
Which means, better pack the seeds you send me,join a spanish dating site, and, find a chica with an extra room for my 600W HPS lamp
KA5H,two Zam phenos(hash is a mix of both),a killer GT3 Thai, and,PH cannot be "consumed" in one night

I agree porn, Panama Haze is not our most potent or high yielding Haze hybrid, but i still rate it as our best Haze hybrid up to date regarding quality.
