Day 80 on this lemony one. That’s a 1/2 gallon jug.

No wonder the main cola callapsed @BurntBacon 😮 she was getting monumental proportions!
Although looked ripe enough. Is the rest of the plant still in action ?

Took both PanamaA5s down at 96 days. Biggest flowers I’ve grown and the more lemony of the two, to me, has the best taste, smell and effect. Already have 2 more seeds going, but would like to see what the Panama is like without A5 influence, maybe Pan. Haze or Pan.x Honduras?

Happy to hear that @BurntBacon ;) to me Panama A5 Haze is superior to Killer A5 Haze, because the Panama Goddess to A5 has much better terpene profiles and enjoyable effects than the Malawi cross, still very strong and narcotic, would love to hear your opinion on these since you have good experience with both.

Regarding your last question, i highly recommend Panama Haze fem and Panama x Bangi Haze fem.

Dubi,

Agreed, the Panama A5 doesn’t have the deep, dark introspection of the Killer and tastier for sure. My past 2 KA5s were very Haze phenos and held citrusy, incense notes, with immediate hit and expansive. The last one was very NL pheno and really myrcene heavy, without the lung busting hit of the haze phenos.

My Panama A5 jars just started the cure, so will revisit smoke report in a month. Love that the flowers are almost all calyx, very little leaf material and quite sandy trichomes, seems like it would screen well for hash. . The plants were a pleasure to grow, even after realizing I had them on veg. nutes for their 16 week life….still yielded the biggest quality flowers I’ve tended. Got a pack of Panama Haze coming Monday.

Thank you for working these lines and producing quality genetics.

I still couldn’t manage to keep her looking nice until the end. It happened a bit later than usual, but in the end, they look exactly the same. It’s okay, I’m still new to this and have more to learn.

But this strain is just a dream for me. This time, it’s a bit different from my first pheno. The trichomes aren’t as big as the last pheno, but somehow, something is different they’re extremely oily. The smell is much stronger now and has a sandalwood scent, very sweet and not sharp, with a hazy incense note. Now I’m in the 10.5th week of flowering.

Glad to see you finishing another Panama A5 Haze @Cheech87 ;) looking chunky and well developed.

A5 Haze and most of its hybrids require higher amounts of nitrogen (and PK) during their long flowering period compared to other fast-flowering 50-day strains, which don’t need as much nitrogen throughout the entire flowering stage.
