So bad news, I think the excessive nitrogen and high temperatures caused both phenos to throw bananas in several nugs, I was able to catch them early enough for any damage to have happened, I think both plants could be harvested in 2 weeks or so... I moved them to the outdoors and will let them ride... I just cant afford to have other stuff at the room polinated at this point... Anyways, I took aclone of a lower branch of the nicer pheno, lets hope it will root and I will give it another shot!

Peace

Sorry for them Buddah, too fragile yes also i don't use to play fertilization except guano in general. But there is definetly an intersex problem with those F2s, i think it could comes from a mom only and probably with just a few nanners that i had not seen!? Or it is the landrace recessive thing that will be clean up with time and reproductions... Anyway i still have a lot of seeds so feel free to pm me dac, i will make the good number to retry your luck. ;)

Also i received bad news from Maha Kala, his early Pakik outdoor grow with big plants vegetative indoor had problems with fungus and the wet climat 50°N. Too big plants for the season i think? With natural and classic outdoor germination i think it could have done?

A lot of work on the table with them, well classic landrace vibes... :D

Ok, so today I had the pleasure to open the jar of the tall pheno, that was my favorite pheno out of the 3.. They finished up nicely outdoors and were harvested a few weeks ago.. The nanners are not too much of a big deal, im pretty sure its my fault... It was a new soil mix where I replaced neem meal with stinging nettle... which is probablhy very high N with quick release musta shocked the poor plants.... plus high heat and light leaks no a biggie.. I still got a few more Pakiks and will run em again and do em justice!

So as I break the nug I encounter the familiar smell from my 1st pheno, a bit floral with some citrus notes to it, this pheno had a bit of a funk when growing which is mellowed it out and melted into the floral smell... the smoke of the joint is very good, reminscent of the smell, very smooth with nice white ash to it... after a joint I felt pretty high, clear headed and functional , however a lot stronger than the previous pheno I had....

Very nice herb, even tho I been smoking all day different strains I was able to feel very nice after smoking this joint...

I believe there is some really good smoke to be found on thr f2s... a good pheno hunting has the potential to finding some keepers for sure!!

Thanks once again Roms for the opportunity to run some special stuff like this...

I still got the other 2 phenos to test, which I will give it a shot in the following days!

Regarding the Pakik x CN, those came out interesting, very wide range of phenos, as expected, some really weird smells, one smells like indian food, a few on the citrus side and a few bland...i got a clone of my favorite pheno, the one that smells like haribo early on and I might give it a shot again...

pce homies!!

Mmmh I smell the Pakik special schfunk just by its bluish look, thank you Buddah Watcha to report the thing! Iam happy that you enjoy it despite its fragility, by hoping you will find with time a stronger pheno without nanners! And again bro feel free for more seeds from my Atao Seeds Collection, it will be well deserved! ;)

Not bad Buddha, Not bad. I bet 6 months cure will do wonderful to break down those chlorophylls.

Not that you mention it but the Lebanese has too much hormones to cross with Mazar i don't know some people like it. I want to create a trinity cross using the Chitrali on Columbia Mangobiche X Lebanese some day. Shes bending over laughing so balky i have no idea they'll probably wreck me i can smell ranges of tones coming from these plants. It burns how they're literally growing from dog shit they're picking it up and releasing gas I'm growing them over an old dog kennel.

Not the brightest but hey they're well fertilized.. These are the heirlooms i have to remember to learn to appreciate that every moment. The whorled Phylotaxy is gravity pulling inwards, Aye they're adaptability compensates.. these plants know how to fall.

Hope you appreciate this :)

Hi, Roms, it's been so long, it's been hard for me to get more seeds out of Pakik. This is the only one that survived germination. She has the same smell as her previous sisters and is a female, I could not get Machos.
I'll upload photos here you think?

Health over there

Hi Guys,
Couple of questions. I bought a seedpack from Tiki seeds some years back. The strain was listed as Yarkuam.

Does anyone know if this is likely to be the Paki Yarkun that you are discussing?

And any info on the strain. I remember thinking that it was an indica like afghan but from the looks of the pictures...it is sativa landrace.

If I can get them to germinate...how long might they take to flower?
Thanks,
JD

EDIT: I found the info I was seeking. So no response needed. Sorry...

Can't say about the Pakik, but from the few runs I've done with Yarkhun indoor I think that Yarkhun genetics are quite particular, very sensitive and very responsive to environmental conditions and the ideal ones will always be the outdoor ones, from start to finish. If Yarkhun genes where dominant in these large plants then maybe it made them less suitable to that kind of grow tech.

Irie!

Hi Conlarazon,
Plant is building some bud. Your pix from late last month look really dark and since excess N can slow budding...I'd suggest that as a possible reason.

Good point DrDee!

Btw it seems that's a X18 "small" pheno so even more related to an excessive N for flowering.... So with more vegetative the apex would have been better.... Anyway it looks not bad, enjoy the terpenes action compadre Conlarazon, patience, the flowertime could be Yarkhun side longer +70\80!
