The 1st surfer has been arrested for violating a stay at home order

A Malibu surfer arrested for paddleboarding during the stay at home order faces a $1000 fine, 6 months imprisonment, or both. The paddleboarder was arrested in Malibu Thursday after ignoring lifeguards and police orders to get out of the ocean amid the stay at home order, authorities said.
The lifeguards flagged down some sheriff’s deputies for assistance, but the man decided he was staying in the water alongside the Malibu Pier.
Deputies summoned their patrol boat from Marina Del Rey, and the man swam to shore once it arrived, officials said. The patrol boat looks like its part of a Coast Guard Fleet! Nothing like the center consoles here in Miami.
He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of disobeying a lifeguard and violating the California Governor’s stay at home order, a misdemeanor.

This is more about the financial collapse and subsequent change in liberties, as the USofA follows Venezuela down the fiat socialism rabbithole. People are really going to be pissed when they find out Ft Knox has no gold, which at least Venezuela had some. Goldman Sachs got it.

And then they go to Walmart where they're not really social distancing and where the Employees - of who there are more than ever, now that they have personal shoppers - mostly don't wear masks.

Then they bring the virus home to the quarantined grouping.

Americans are doing 90% of the work of the quarantine and getting 50% of the benefits.

Looking for just one Governor to show they have a BRAIN and start permitting social activities where social distancing is part of the territory. e.g. Skiing, or playing Foosball on REALLY BIG Foosball tables - outdoors.

They haul out the scientists to say "the wind can blow the virus" (DUH) but what matters is the infection rate. If you're talking to someone and neither of you is upwind or downwind, but "equal" wind-wise, and 6 feet apart, you're mostly isolated germwise.

WAAY better than being clustered indoors. All the orthodox religious groups that are having big outbreaks, it's not because they were clustered outdoors - it's because they were clustered indoors.

Wally World limiting how many folks in store at one time now, plus restricted to groceries/pharmacy. TN governors "stay at home" order allows for outdoor recreation, and VAs gov specifically cited fishing etc as being allowed. turkey season opened up here on Saturday. you want to start a fucking war? try to cancel deer hunting/turkey hunting/fishing in the south...none of which, i might add, are activities where folks get together in groups.:tiphat:

The park near the Fayetteville, TN co-op has police tape all over the entrances - no outdoor fun for kiddies there. Plenty of people at the co-op doing spring buying, me getting 1200# seed and renting a drill.

Tractor store people are all there at work, charging me a ton to fix my tiller. Shop busy.

No masks anywhere.

I think they are gonna cancel NCAA football, which will suck.

I have stopped getting take-out food from the rib places around here, as that was probably the biggest risk or infection. Grocery store a lot safer, just wipe down the stuff. Cook your own.

I can't imagine vaping dispensary stuff now, especially bot by the 8th.
