the weather has finally let up and no rain the last few days and the weather man says it might be this way for a few. we need the break. a little update. pic 3&4 are the same plant a little slower than the other
I'm sorry to hear about the lost of half plant due heavy storms.
I guess you must be closer the equator than me, our Malawi new killer hasn't started the flowering yet. It's great to see yours so advanced in late August.
Best wishes for the upcoming most important weeks of flowering.
here is a little update on the s1 malawi fems. they are progressing very well to me. at the end of august and they look like this and they take till end of october(2 more months) they should be un-real and a massive good time.
morcheeba* thanks for dropping in and the kind words. i think they will be fat at the end as well as long as i can keep them upright . plan on bracing on up as time goes by
Absolutely beautiful job flboy. You've got some great skill there. Looks like they are really happy in your plot.
I'm interested in seeing how the Malawi responds to Nature's topping. I've seen sativas become beasts when topped dramatically - a whole 'nother creature entirely, very interesting to watch. If you're able to set up weights it will help that topped plant a lot with yield as the remaining branches will bolt. (I don't know how much the surrounding vegetation/trees limit your canopy height)
thcvhunter i have 3 purple haze x malawi out in the same plot that i topped the hell out of and they are monsters taken up a lot of space and have not started to bloom yet. that's why i only topped the new killer a few times. i thought about bending and tieing but i was worried about running out of room. i have 9 plants and all have been topped so my area is at it's limit for this year but i am keeping all the suggestions for next season to improve on
thanks for stopping in
stay safe and keep it green
looking superb'... good job so far
see that you fixed the nutrients prob's...
now if you have a little liquid P+K... and you will need big Van to carry it all home ;-)
thumps up... & wish you all the best for the rest... ;-)
little up date. they are stacking up nice and steady(at least one is) i have a second plant that seems like it will take a little longer to finish but still moving wright along. first pic;s is of the more aggressive one
looking very good now...
no def. good job mate!
wish mine was so far here @ 51°... but well have this fast Malawi pheno that's promising
keep up your green thumb!
M.
madmac no def. in these girls. they should be large at the end of bloom. the fast one is the beauty as of now but you can't tell till it's over but impressed with the malawi as a whole definitely a keeper in my stable. i wish i had a place for a clone of the fast one but as of now i don't. i will probably order the regular malawi so i can make more with my fem breeders pack (regular breeders pack that is ) if they last till the end of my season and i have the Guatemala reg. seeds i am going to do some crossing with as well
GG THE BANGI IS THE ONES THAT WILL FINISH FIRST BY ABOUT A MONTH I WOULD SAY. THEN THE MALAWI. I HAVE THE ONE THAT IS QUICKER THAN THE OTHER BUT THEY WILL TAKE TO END OF OCTOBER EARLY NOVEMBER
Your Malawi New Killer S1 looks almost like the New Killer mother, I post again one of your S1 pics with a pic of our mother grown past year, at a similar stage of development for comparison.
Our mother in the pic was heavily pollinated and was grown in a pot so i expect your S1 offspring will perform much better in soil and sinsemilla style.
Be careful with the worms at this stage of flowering, maybe is worth to spray them with bacillus thuringiensis.
