p3 new killer malawi fem breeder pack

I have 2 killer Malawi s1 from the breeders pack going out side this season. started in april in sunshine mix and amended with ewc, bone meal, blood meal, kelp, green sand. I will be mixing up ewc with some guano and liquid karma as needed thru the cycle. here are a few pic's as they are today. they are around 6' tall and about the same in diameter. they have been topped a few times

^great post. I've been wanting the killer Malawi mum isolated. when did these p3 and old killer lines reg and fem become available? I knew he had breeder packs. been snoozing. looks like it's been available for months by flboy's great pics.

so dubi broke down and made s1's.

idiit I think they have been out sense the first of the year for there 10 yr anniversary. I would have open more but had such a high female rate with the purple haze x Malawi had no more room. can not wait till I can run a few of them all to sort thru the different lines

I am going to do the same thing when I open a few of all the pheno's . not sure yet what I am going to use as the father yet but I have some time to figure it out.

if fl boy means you are down in se usa ( florida) I think the ace malawi is a good pick. i'm se usa and it's super hot and humid all the way until 10/15. then mom nature flips a switch and we go into some exquisite fall weather all the way into dec. usually. can take cold well too.

no bud rot at all for me. i'm hoping the same for you. pretty rare for most strains to take hot humid w/o bud rot.

idiit you are correct with what you are thinking. this is why I only have the ace gear in my line up. I think the same thing about the weather it is some thing else. I have 1 Malawi x pck out with the others and will see how it handles this climate so far it looks like a real good contender. I am counting on some cool weather end October early November so I can get some purple out of my purple haze x Malawi I have out that are monsters in my other report in here

Thanks flboy for starting a diary about New Killer Malawi S1 line.

I'm not a big fan of S1 releases except for intermediate breeding steps and/or to isolate/inbred in seed form very desirable traits from exceptional females.

Selfing (S1) is the higher form of inbreeding in one step, usually S1 offspring loses vigour, yield and vitality, but Malawi works exceptionally well in S1s as far as we have experienced... the first Malawi fem release was an Old Killer Malawi S1 release, and it worked quite good ... right now Malawi fem release is Old Killer Malawi x New Killer Malawi (reversed), a combination of the best old and new Malawi female parental plants in one line.... but i think it was also interesting to offer S1 seeds from the New Killer Malawi for breeding, hence we finally decided to include this S1 line in the feminized Malawi Breeders Pack.

Yours are looking very uniform, healthy and vigorous, it will be a pleasure to see their development until the end of flowering, thank you very much for sharing it!

dubi thanks for stopping by so am I reffering to these wrong when I say p3 as in the description in the breeders pack ? if so I need to change this. I just think these are super and can not wait to search thru the rest of the breeders pack I received. I will report to the end if all goes well
