Ahh I see, now I get ya.... well it has to be nutrients that were built up in the soil that the plants did not use; how big were the plants in the mixture before you harvested?
They weren't very big. Tallest ones were probably 45-50 cm, but I also had some small ones - 30-40 cm. I mostly used the soil from the smaller plants thinking it wasn't so spent... I guess I was right
Anyway I still don't see the problem getting any worse, and the plants are still putting out a new node every 2-3 days. Growing can only be a good thing right? ;p At least if the soil is hot they'll use up some of those nutesæ.
I think I'll probably flower them soon. I'm excited to see how much they'll stretch compared to my last round when I flowered from newly rooted clones after only a few days veg.
Thanks for your help, I'll probably get back on this forum if I have issues in flower - and I probably will.
Well, you can wait up to 5 days max before switching; let them completely recover; that way you can let the plants hit there full burst stretch without anything holding them back; like if you want you can go ahead within the next few days...... but since they got mildly stressed from the mixture you want to give them time to recover; you can do it within the next few days; but if you want them to fully recover you should wait about 5 more days.
Thanks I'm listening to you.
They're still getting better and growing, and I want to take some more clones too before I make the switch. I was too lazy to clone today and I'll probably be busy tomorrow so it might also hit 6 days;p
That's from the horror film "Wolf Creek" - it's worth a watch if you like a nervewrecking thriller - it really is a very brutal film to watch.
It's the murderer Mick Taylor, played by John Jarrat.
