Heres the lil c02 home brew i set up a few days ago. It consists of 2 x 2 liter bottles brewing 1 cup of sugar per bottle with 3 cups of warm water in each an each got a pack of yeast. This will get changed out once a week.

Nice...I've been running my own CO2 for a few weeks now. Instead of the packets...see if you can find the yeast in the little jars,
I buy it here (Toronto) in 113gr (4oz) jars for around $3.50 I think it is...

The c02 addition has definately sped growth up. I seen those jars where i pick up the packets. How much do you add per 2 liter bottle?
A lil update, I pulled them out for a quick pic an look over in normal light. Got some ca/mg issues in only 1....strange, she must just be a ca/mg hog.

Just wasn't diggin the led alone for veg. It just doesnt see to have enough blue light for veg so I added 4 cfls in a lil setup. After 15 mins things got real perky, an they got a transplant too, into 6x6 square pots.

sorry for not answering sooner my friend....I really don't weight the stuff, I basically just eyeball it. I pour the sugar into a cup and then the yeast and mix it. After mixing, I guess it's around a 50 to 1 mix or something like that. I see a grain or two of yeast in every 1/4 inch square or something like that.
Sorry I can't be of any more help man.. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it after a few mixes. I've also mixed in too much as well and the damn goo came out through the hose!! LOL.. Had to wipe the leaves off more than on one occasion before I figured out the 'right' amount..
I guess trial and error is the only way some of ever learn. Great to hear that you've gotten a substantially visible difference!!!!!!

Everyone got a lil toppin today, had to start the trim/train before they get too tall.
I noticed this leaf curl goin on with one if the strawberry d's. I cant fix it, im thinkin maybe its just nute sensative but im using lucas 6/9, temps are 75-77, rh is 41-50%, light is 18 inches away.

Heya.. I keep forgetting what "Seamaiden' calls it.. Vapour pressure difference or something like that...caused by the plant trying to conserve fuilds..cupping is the 'layman' term.
The thing with nutes is the other way called 'clawing'...the tips of the leaves actually curl down and under the leaf....well.. picture a claw in your mind and you'll know what I mean...
Usual fix is misting a bit or raising the RH and/or raising the light but since it's already far enough away.. I would suggest trying to raise the humidity or spraying them with just water until they return to 'normal'...
About the 'goo'.......yeah...sticky and smelled like the yeast. wasn't too bad but still a mess... The wild thing is that after the bottle 'ferments', you've got a weak alcoholic drink there and you can actually put that into a still and make some pretty good hooch!!!! LOL

Really, 15 minutes? Wow. If you dont mind I would like to pull up my own bucket and watch your grow. LEDs are interesting. I wonder if the LEDs can be altered to supply the light that the cfls supplied to perk up your plants?
I have not grown indoors ever, so if I said something stupid there please forgive me.
Going to give indoors a try soon though.

Ya i know the claw, got it a few years back with a sensative og i grew. I know its not Rh an I foliar already an the cupping still persists. Its only on 1 plant outta 11 so its a strain specific issue not room. Gonna start a foliar or protek tonight an see if it helps.
Yup, 15 mins they were lookin happier. I think my led model is more geared towards flowering with less blues.

The claw is from to much P to early usually or the P built up n was released at a toxic level at some point on that plant.

It wasnt the claw that the one strawberry diesel had. it was opposite of the claw where the leave edges turned up an created a cupping effect which i think its magnesium issues so i foliared with epsom an it started fixin it.
Everytime i read "the claw" it makes me think of Toy Story lol, my kids watched that movie way to much.

Thanx for the well wishes vukman. Canopy level is the most important heat read imho.
Just noticed my cfls are glowing still after an hour of being off, wtf! I unscrewed tem an am just gonna take em out when lights go out an put em back in when they turn back on......pain in the ass i know but the girls really dig the xtra blue while in veg, only 5 more days till flip so no biggie.
