Went back out to check on the girls after top dressing with worm castings and bat guano.
Tied another plants tops abit better and stood on a ladder and checked all the tops for rot.
The GrandoggyApe OG's are resistant to rot as well as the Strwberry Dogshit and that Grandoggy/SweetBlue hybrid.
Not a spot, and they have huge dense buds.

The GG#4 had 2 small spots of rot on 1 plant and 1 small spot on another. Nothing serious, but these buds are gonna get super dense so I wanna keep a very close eye on them. All in all they look great for outdoor guerilla plants.

Wonder if I can spray Serenade on the 4x GG#4's 3 weeks before harvest to stop any budrot or PM?
Im spraying them anyways tonight to ensure a successfull harvest. 3 weeks should be enough time to wash off before harvesting the flowers.
The Chemmy JOnes has 5 weeks left so thats getting sprayed for sure.

Finished harvesting the ChBlues and gave the girls a good watering today.

The flowers are getting enormous!
(GrapeApe x OGKush) X (GDP x Chem D) is soooo purple!
Its amazing looking. The prettiest outdoor plant Ive personally ever had the blessing to grow.
It will be ready by the 10th. The colas are as thick and as long as my arm. Very dense and super heavy flowers.

The 3 colas on the (GrapeApe x OGKush) x (Blueberry x SweetTooth) are enormous as well.
The biggest out of all the colas in the garden.
The smells in the patch are amazing. Looking forward to smoking variety again.
Im sure the flowers will be more potent and tastier than the indoor grown.
The Strawberry Cough my partner was growing outdoors in spot#2, sat me on my ass and gave me the worst cotton mouth Ive had in a long time.

Overgrow- idk if Seranade can rid crops of mold or not... I would just cut everything out that you see, being careful not to shake too many spores into the air

Thats what I decided to do. Go out in the damp mornings when the grass is wet, and give them a gentle shake to rid the flowers of excess water.
I cut out any buds with botrytis before giving the branches a shake. That shit sets in 2 days!
We only finely misted the 4x GG4's and the Chemmy Jones with Serenade.
That way any trace of it will be gone when harvesting 3 weeks later.
Were taking the 3x GDAOG's and the other hybrid by the 7th. Im starting the flush tomorrow.
Extremely purple and very pretty.

Im still stumped as too why only some buds get it, while the entire rest of the plant is uneffected? It gets it at the top. In a nice, open, top cola, Ill get a bud in the center of the nodes that get it. A quarter sized bud. The rest of the buds that form the cola stack will be fine.

I only have till the 14th, latest, and everything will be out of there, except the Chemmy Jones.
That plant is gonna go till the end of Oct. What a bitch! I guess she doesnt want to be smoked. Well, not all girls are born models. If she doesnt want to be pretty, than Ill let her go. A sacrifice to mother nature so to speak. It was so pretty indoors. Seemed like a great strain to run outs. Guess not.

When I was outdoors I found that green cure worked really well on mold. Kinda late for ya now but maybe next year

Thanx Joe! Ill grab some for next season.
Ive heard that stuff is great. Its only like 1 small quarter sized bud on the whole plant.
Like 1 a day. Not bad, but it is a wierd thing.

The biggest problem I had outdoors was caterpillars. Them damn things will wreak havoc on a bud.

Same here, especially my C99 girls for some reason. This year I used BT as a foliar spray a few times before flowering hit and once in mid Aug and I haven't had one caterpillar all year. Little to no mold either, I know once they bite the flowers those bite sites begin to mold from the inside out. Oh... and don't panic bc BT is 100% organic :dance013:

I have a bunch of caterpillar worms that bore holes in the stems and crawl inside and just start tunneling out the branch. I sprayed way to late and am paying the price with their poop cauzing budrot on some buds. Ive just kinda dug at the holes to clean them up and threw some duct tape around it.

Yeah I used bt also. The last year I was outdoors I had no problems with worms or mold. Took me years to find out about bt and gc.
Thats another thing you need to add for next year.
