Oven drying rice flour to mix with pollen?

Hi ICMagers,

I have had success mixing pollen with rice flour in the past without drying it, but recently my pollen mixed with rice flour is not surviving in the freezer.

I read somewhere about drying the rice flour in the oven first....... does anyone have some instructions on how to do this?

i don't use the flour technique, so this is guessing
i use whole rice as desiccant, pollen is put on porous paper and then in sealed container
anyways, it is recommended for the container to sit a day before freezing, this desiccates the pollen more thoroughly
so do you mix pollen and flower right away?

I just throw it n the freezer in envelopes. keeps for awhile anyways.

I will just freeze it without mixing with rice flour, unless someone can share how to dry the flour.
