Looking good mendo. I think the only cookie plant returning to my garden next year will be the platinum. Of the three I have its fatter and seems much faster and more vigorous than the forum and the thin mint. My thin mint just basically started flowering not too long ago, little tiny buds up and down the stem, definitely not worth the smart pot shes grown in. Better put out some quality nugs, going to be mostly head stash it looks like.

Hello all,

Has the finale begun?

I am phuqued until Wednesday until the ground dries out enough....wheels get suck in the mud.

I am understandably concerned about mold.

Treated them with Greencure Saturday afternoon. Hope that it will stave off the PM and mold for just 48 more hours or so.

But then again, it is supposed to be good weather the rest of this week.

Still, I am thinking on starting the harvest this week for the big stuff and let the smaller buds grow for a little while if the mold issue is in check.

Trying to keep from pulling my hair out...I have , ah uh, acquired the first season of Homeland to keep me occupied and help relax.

EDIT: Seems in order.

Hello all,

Just beautiful Mendo.

I have taken down my Sourdog and cherry pie.

I still have a sour diesel and a gs cookies that is turning a nice shade of purple.

The SD is further out then the cookies. Each time I go out to make the last inspection of the trichs I come away with the feeling of letting them go longer.

They have certainly fattened up considerably in the last 10 day so what coud another week bring.

The Greencure is so far keeping PM and mold in check.

They are starving but well watered and are dying gracefully. The weather channel has a great 10 day outlook with possible showers Wednesday. I think they will go another week easy.

Good luck to us all.

same boat mendo, most things look like 1-2 weeks out. only the green crack and purple dieselberrys have gotten their tops plucked so far....definately cold and windy and hoping everything still out there gets their fall colors.

What's your stand out strain this year? I can never fully tell until buds are jarred and cured, but I usually have a good idea. Are you happy with all your soil and techniques from the year? Anything you want to pass along? Beautiful garden.

Hello all,

Amazing how quickly they can ripen so it may happen all at once.

Started taking down my GSC this afternoon. I have decided since I can't possibly trim this all properly before drying, I am going to follow your lead mendo and hang them freshly cut and trim later...I did remove all the big fans though.

I might decide to not trim them at all since its all personal smoke I can trim it as I go.

Of course I would buck the buds and jar them.

I am going to finish up on the GSC tomorrow and will wait till Monday to start on the SD.

Bumper crop thus far...no mold and PM to speak of.

Weather channel has 10 days of beautiful weather...better than last year.

Great harvest to us all.

I presume you are busier than a one armed paper hanger.
