Speed Queen

The lowest temperature was -2°C (28 Fahrenheit) two nights on Oct. 17th & 18th

This strain is cold resistant! It had no problem with the low temp when the Sensi's Northern Lights leafs burnt to brown by the cold. The Sensi NL is REALLY only indoor strain!

height: around a 2 m tall and wide pyramid looking fat indica full of huge buds at harvest. this is the common size at harvest but I also had some bigger males! /showed sex very late :-/

Very easy plant to grow, she will stand strong for long. The taste was pretty special, sweet with something of a tangerine taste to it. High was very creative, mostly in the head. But as you can see, there was a shit load of leaves, I also encounterd fusariumon the main stalk, but that only created worries, not really a problem...

Very strong fuel smell after harvest. after a 2 month cure smelled almost like baby food. Very lucky to get this one should be similar to NYC diesel (reeferman)

Hello,

Shiva Shanti from Sensi Seeds, germinated on the equinox at 50 degrees latitude in heavy soil in Western Germany, with an open sky, near the water. Great vigour, on the window-sill, too. Resin glands washed away by a cold rainstorm were replaced by new ones two weeks later thanks to finger-hash heritage. Harvested a lot of weeds and seeds: Mid October too early, should have been finger-hash only. Great early November lot. Purpled mid November lot. First frost came in end of November. Mould soly due to my mistakes. The taste is pungent, tickles the nose, with some fruit taste; I experienced kind body effects and a bit of freak-out, not for long, but hope remains. Hashish picks locks. I had only pistillates which were crossed with Macks Futter and Haze staminates: F1 seeds are tough and virile.

Hello,

@BACKCOUNTRY: Yes, 6th of November. The immature buds are hard to use because of the tiny seeds and excess of leaves but taste good. The purple half-thumbs are strong.

I threw away 5 % due to mold, some in the last weeks before harvest and some while curing. The late start had the advantage that I did not need to prune and tie up the plants. I should have added sand to the soil and should not have rammed a pole into the ground in order to raise the staminate Haze growing in a pot above the Shiva Shantis. You can read my full report here.

Strain/Breeder: Biddy Early/Magnus Genetics
Harvest time: 3rd wk in Sept.
Latitude of grow: 41 degrees
Location:NE USA
Average yield: medium
Mold?: slight
Potentcy:8.5 good 50/50 mix of head/body high. Too strong for daytime, good for movie viewing @ night. Not a couchlock, but strong.
Year of grow:'06
Grown organically, guerilla style
Always surprised this hasn't been grown out more w/ it's pedagree.
These were F2's. Some obvious runts, and overall I wasn't impressed w/ growth/structure, in fact started up another strain for back up.

The end result made up for all my doubts. Smoke was top notch. I got the orange pheno, real deal orange taste w/ slight skunkiness. Intoxicating smell and taste.

My favorite outdoor strain so far. Killed me that I lost it. Vigorous growth, did extremely well in my area, Just a touch of mold, while my Sour Diesel and Deep Warp got hammered w/ mold.
Great smell and taste. We dubbed it "Muffin", as it smelled and tasted like a blueberry muffin! Roll a J and be content just dry toking it, yum!

Strain/Breeder: Swiss Miss/Nirvana
Harvest time: Sept. 20- 25
Latitude of grow: 44N
Location: Midwest
Average yield: Medium/Average Yield- your mileage may vary. I never put any on a scale!
Mold?: None
Potentcy: Had a purple pheno that smoked very well, and usually I am not a fan of the purples!! 7.5 out of 10. Much better than expected.
Year of grow: 2006

Planted near a pond in full sun. These plants were clones of a few mother plants that were put out much earlier in the year (they were immediately consumed by deer). The clones were put out in early to mid July, and ended about 3- 4' in height. Handled a few nights down to 25F or so without flinching!
