Hi BAKED_BEANZ,

Looks like a very promising Malawi outdoor grow! Plants look healthy, vigorous and uniform.

Would love to hear your comments about the Malawi selection and what are the dominant and recessive traits in the F1 Malawi hybrids you have tried so far.

Best wishes!

i,m looking forward to my next visit, there has been some rain ...... so i haven't been out to see them . (the new killers)

this is how i made the seeds , i had roughly 25 /30 new malawi killers over winter , i seeded all of them with different males from strains i selected . then i go on structure and bud density/yield but most of all what terpz each ones putting out . also was looking for fast finishers . i don't keep all the seed , only from the plants i like the most .

then i test grow the offspring , like i,m doing now . no interest in ever selling seed . just for my own grows . everybody loves the malawi so much . its No1 here .

the only f1 hybrid to date grown out , is the malawi x black lime reserve . which added a heap of terpz to the plant and also threw in fast finishers that grow very solid flowers and great yield . but kept all the soaring qualities of the malawi high , but done in 8/9 weeks

i,m actually in the process of finding another fast finisher out of the malxblr f1 and hitting it with a blr male , before all the f1 are gone forever .

and looking forward to the new crosses , too . lots fun. one of the new killer malawi i crossed with 7 black lime reserve f2 males was super fast finisher , it stacked fast early it finished 2 weeks quicker than her sisters . . the other favourite is the killer malawi crossed with the orange glue , the terps of that malawi was crazy and well relentless orange glue is a terpz machine .

i,ve posted this a few times , this is the mal x blr f1 fast finisher ( one off them )it picked up solid supportive structure which is nice . the best part is the fast finishers have made there way into the f2 . a good friend has found himself a high end keeper that finishes quick with fantastic malawi high/kick to the head .

.

this was the typical mal x blr f1 . they did vary is size and structure , this was probably the more lanky ones . it was about 9 feet in 4mths . they were late starts. the picture does,nt really do the bud size justice .

most thanks go,s to ace for bringing us this crippling example of malawi , not to mention the service to fantastic .

if only there was a way at such a young age to tell sex , now would that be awesome . they need to develop a test kit , where you take of a small snip and a simple colour change for male or female . ( just dreaming out loud )

Well well well. Look what I found. Sub'd. Late to the party, but pulling up a seat. You gonna kill it bro.
I seem to remember a kit you could buy, to send in a sample, and they could test it, and tell sex. I'll see if I can find the info, don't know if it was all bullshit or not.
That first pic, looks amazing man.

Yes,I think I know what you mean! :)
Ever tried breeding fems?

i have thought about it , i got some sts . i was super keen at one stage .
but it doesnt really fuss me , i like having males round for making seed . as much as it takes up space sometimes .

Geez bro, do you ever sleep? What a work ethic, you set the bar high, great work.
Are those Mal x BL, the same ones Stoned40 ran, or different male?

This looks like it's going to be a very interesting grow. Love to watch the Sativas grow as it's frozen solid up here right now.

Best of luck and may all your Buds be Huge

Peace GG

stoned40 is the running the f2 , the ones i,m running are the oringal f1 and the new f1 i made over winter .

but from what i see with stoned40 the f2 are holding lots of goodies , i,d say .

i,d love to see them in the hands of a breeder like dubi , man he could carve some serious seeds up out of them . i,d love a big bag fem seed to cover my hillside in plants . i don,t have rooms set up or proven breeding stock mothers . maybe one day .

i have 3 orders on the way , i,m super pumped about the malawi x pck , i,m looking for good outdoor strain that i can run with the malawi,s next season . in fem seed . this spot requires fems to lower my visits .

i may need to break out my sts and make my own fems , i,ve been procrastinating far too long . i,d prefer proven mothers , unless i do what i do with my regs and do whole batch of different females then select after there finished and smoked tested .
