Update time as i've been gone for a bit now...

This is the last plant i took down the first week of November when everything went to shit...This plant took heavy rains and a few nights of frost before i took it down and barely had any mold maybe 2% thats how little it had...

Hos-BS-P1

After all this i started to build myself this Vortex tea brewer
http://www.subtleenergies.com/ormus/tw/turbo-vortex.htm

Here's it is all done and waiting on a pump...

I finished up my feminized seed run so now i have some ak99Xfreezland fem beans and a few feminized crosses that i'm currently testing.....

I also bought 6 cubic feet of peat moss,100lbs of chicken manure,70lbs of rose tone...

I used 50lbs of chicken manure and 35lbs of the rose tone on six spots thats all ready and waiting for next year...

The peat and the rest of the ferts will be used in some self-watering planters or some raised beds....

My good friend "SOG" or Someotherguy should i say found 2 nice rolls of clear plastic that i'll be using to make a nice cold frame/green house...

In my next update i'll have pics of the cold frame hopefully and shots of all my new beans for the next season..

Stay safe and a Happy new year to all

All this was 6 hours of trimming.....

Trimming sucks!

I got this trimmer below, guy sold it to me for 450 bucks (cheapest available on Ebay!) after I told him I am
medical.:dance013:
My buddy trims a pound in an hour with it easy.
The buds look just like hand trimmed with that machine, it is totally awesome!

IPT you femed some ak99 x FL very nice. I ran some f2s this year but was disappointed they weren’t half as good as the F1s from Jaysprout. Don’t know if you have heard but Jay is AWOL over UDG so you have some very nice fem gear there.

Did you grow any of ak99xfl this year?? Hope to see a thread with the fem beans next season.

wow sweet harvest InPotiTrust, very nice work indeed. and already has the holes ready for next year ! while we still have a foot of snow on the ground over here.

sad about the mold, but it seems part of the out door game in the end. grats on the new trimming device. have a few mates that love those things. really saves a lot of time, thats for sure.

you planning to make any bubble hash with your trim?

anyway just wanted to drop by and say hi and all the best for the new year of course :joint:

peace out :tiphat:

StrainHunter Good to see your still around these parts....Thanks for posting that up too...I saw a few of those at my local hydro store awile now but for something as small as it is 450 is alot for me to drop even tho i probably could get it for less, lets just say im still on the fence about those...

hamstring I'm really glad i made some feminized beans of it....I use to be over on UDG because my friend that i got the beans from told me about them and that thats where he got the seeds..

I ordered some seeds when i started over there and never got them after giving them my safe addy about 3 times over a month after talking back and forth i ended up telling the guy to shove it ...This happened over 2 years ago and i never went back there...

Thats how i ended up with the idea that the only way i was gona save this strain would be to feminize it.....

What you ran into with the F2's is called MENDEL's second law which says

"MENDEL's second law is the principle of segregation. It states that the individuals of the F2 generation are not uniform, but that the traits segregate. Depending on a dominant-recessive crossing or an intermediate crossing are the resulting ratios 3:1 or 1:2:1. According to this principle hereditary traits are determined by discrete factors (now called genes) that occur in pairs, one of each pair being inherited from each parent. This concept of independent traits explains how a trait can persist from generation to generation without blending with other traits. It explains, too, how the trait can seemingly disappear and then reappear in a later generation. The principle of segregation was consequently of the utmost importance for understanding both genetics and evolution."

I did run some AK99XFL outside this year but they were small and the deer ate all the tops off but i did get 3 joints tho:jump:

I started some of the seeds already(the worst looking ones) so if u want to check back in a few on my 250W thread they;ll be pics..

gaiusmariusThanks for the kind words bro you put on a great show yourself for your first time outdoors...

I don't have that trimmer lol....your stoned

I wanted to make some hash but i don't have access to those bags right now so i was leaning to make some BHO ...

Hope all you guys have a Happy and stoned new year:wave:

lol i really was/ am stoned, hehe....always when browsing icmag it seems. seems my grats should have been aimed at StrainHunter, lol.

so grats StrainHunter, i'm sure you will be glad of your purchase every time you have to trim. not cheap, but penuts when you think of the many hours it saves on trimming. my only reason for not being a whole hearted fan is the rough treatment the buds get put through and the fact that all the trim and fan leaves get chopped up fine together, unless you de fan them first. which you need to do for the best hash.

Happy New Year InPotiTrust mate

Hey IPT I looked at your 250w organic grow thread I didn’t see AK99XFL listed but honestly I didn’t look hard so my bad.

About the F2 info much appreciated I am so far from being a breeder I wouldn’t be able to see you from where I am standing. I know of course the F2's give you the biggest genetic diversity and to magnify that my pollen chucking standards are very loose. So yes I got what I deserved for sure and knowing the answer and applying it are two very different things. Looks like you have been applying your knowledge while I have been planting shitty f2s hehehe.

I guess my interests were more on what you thought of the strain because it looks like you do both a “In & Out” grow so wondering if this is one of your outdoor choices so you wanted a viable seed stockpile??? I am a seed only guerrilla and I don’t have an indoor so phenos are all over the place with seed as you know but there were some potent, citrus tasting, Sept 15th finishing phenos (I wish i could take advantage of pheno selection my life would be much easier).

So if you don’t mind me asking why did you take the time to fem it if you can pheno select to clone? DO you pheno select or are you a seeder outdoors??Also would love to hear more about any of the fems seeds you germinated as I was a fan of the strain??

Oh yeah of course we pluck off the fan leafs first....

The trimmer I got you can see in the picture on the previous page basically pays for itself.

This is how we do it:

Pluck off the fan leafs
(quick and easy).

Cut off the individual nugs
(takes seconds to do!)

Put a few handfull in to the trimmer.

Spin the handle for approx. 30 seconds

BLAM! :jump::jump::jump:

Nugs trimmed just like if 4 people would have been sitting there for 1/2 hour! :dance013:

We have tried maybe 4 or 5 different trimmers and this one does it best.
No after trimming and they look like hand trimmed! :tiphat:

Happy New year

I didn't post the info up in that thread as yet that why it wasn't there....

The f2's you have are still a gem just need to pop quite a few to find the good ones.....

I like going from seed outdoors but do run clones also...I love the taste of this strain and the fact it's easy to grow and the cut i have finish the last week of September for me...The reason i wanted to feminize this strain is because of what "PhenoMenal" and others in the Yayyy! My first colloidal silver generator for making feminised seeds - DIY Guidehttps://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=60610 thread have said about feminized seeds being the copy of the strain in seed form so the same results can be had all the the time...

I still have yet to test this which is whats in the works right now and for this season...

All that and the fact i love this strain when it's done outside not so much indoors as it's a bit touchy but i do run it...

Here's a pic of it outdoors from 09 which was a bad outdoor year...

Hey there IPT,

Just happened upon your thread, I'm another east-coast, (very unfriendly state), & BSGA. You seemed to have come out with some decent looking buds there. Happy New Year, BTW:tiphat:

someotherguy Yea bro i'm just here chillin out for the time being and trying to get all my dam pics sorted out to post up and finally get that outta the way....

Captain Ginyu Happy New Year...Thanks for the kinds words it's all ways nice to see another east coaster sticking it to them...I see you like anime also which is way cool as DBZ is just an all time classic now...I've always seen that group but never got into it(i think)...

Stop by anytime and lite one up:bongsmi:

Yeah, I only liked the old ones. Sometime late in the Namek series, they changed the voices of the characters, which Kinda ticked me off. Then; to make matters worse, things went waaay overboard, confusing, & even downright stupid, with their later series. I heard the original production staff & some of the artists were canned, so I said the hell with it, I'm gonna pay attention to other things; like watching beautiful green plants, right?

Captain Ginyu I always watched the Japanese version because of what funimation did to the series...But you right nothing like watching beautiful green plants grow....

I've completed my first Self-Watering planter....I was gona build this one at first http://www.earthtainer.org/ but found that using 2 rubbermaids ment alot more dollars which i don't have...Then i stumbled upon a book with another design...The book is called "Fresh Food From Small Spaces" The Square Inch Gardener's Guide To Year-Round growing,Fermenting, and Sprouting.....

So here's what i built...It's a 30 gallon tote

Over flow hole..

Testing the wood pieces after the cut...There the same height as the net pot which is 6''...

The bottom with the wood attached...

The hole for the filler tube...

All done....I'll be putting some landscaping fabric in when i'm ready to fill it...Note that pipe is just to mock things up...

Thats it for now next thing on my list to build is the cold frame/green house...The plastic that my buddy SOG found was snatched up by somebody which sucks so new plan in the works...
