The Republican Party will use its best efforts to eliminate Daylight Saving Time, which has a small but strong constituency, but shouldn’t! Daylight Saving Time is inconvenient, and very costly to our Nation.

No I didn’t but I did use both the clover and cow pea with inoculate when I was working on new ground that I had added a lot of partially rotted wood chips . Wood chips draw nitrogen for a few years , the legumes put an end to that . Now I just use the Black Eyed Peas as a space filler to smother weeds ,they are semi running grow really quick but are easy to pull when needed
Ok I got ya, to condition the soil before planting.

Yes I do sometimes and as far as fertilizer all I use is chicken manure, and worm castings . The chicken manure is from my coop and aged for over a year , i till just a little in with a lot of worm castings in the spring . During. Veg i hit them up with one or two shots of week chicken manure tea
Great information on fertilizer. I love the chicken manure because it is effective. Cannabis gets hungry easily. I don't use it close to flowering though, so June is as late as I would run chicken manure as a top dressing. But a weak manure tea may be alright later on if you have the application rate appropriate not to cause N burn.
Going to be trying out the Tru organics this year which is a mixture containing chicken manure as well as other types of fertilizer.

I like DST because it gets everyone home and to bed earlier, then I can go out and garden in the evening with more daylight and better security. I do like getting up earlier with the sun, but it ends up being too early for my biological clock here. Its daylight until 10 PM in the summer.

We have day light saving in NZ. I love it , long Summer evenings and daylight till 9-10pm depending on location.
When I lived in Perth WA they didn’t have it and some people said it saved money on curtains as they faded less. Nice and warm but I missed that extra Hour of daylight after work.
Yes I remember well waiting that little bit longer for people to finish up their drive home and eat dinner etc in summer, day light savings time, so you Could get out to the gorilla spots

Garden looks great @40degsouth. Cool info re carrots. I’ve moved some girls into the veggies, sure improves my produce. Not as companions but increases my frequency of garden visits.

It really doesn’t matter imo the day light is still the same . However I just think it’s stupid to change the clocks , why ? IMO just say on Dylan light savings all year
