Those trichs be looking plump. Did you have a little bud rot? Lovely buds though.
Just one bud site had been rotten... cornfield harvest started also so i decided to harvest. After a really rainy summer the first 2 weeks of september were pretty warm and sunny. :smoker:

Golden Heribei (Herijuana something) should be mostly indica so it's good for me, had ~ 6 weeks flowering. 🌞

Pretty big dense buds overall. Trimmed almost 3 hours, lots of resinous leaves. :)

Happy harvest guys! Buds are looking good. You know when they're ripe because you can smell the potency. Preliminary testers have been one hit wonders so far. Go ahead and take them down, its time! Going to let mine ripen as long as possible. October looks like it will be warm, so will be easier to finish the crop this year!!! :smoke:

Mitsuharu--Looks like some frosty flowers! Love those colorful pistils! Excellent shots, you really captured the beauty there! Any plans to use the resinous trim? :smoke

Revegetta--Thats a big cola! Yeah looks like its ready! Its great to have an early plant and get to enjoy some fruits still in the summertime! Looks like a great incica hybrid! What smell are you getting from that one? Enjoy!

Ultramarin-- Looking good for being so far north! I love how you guys up north can grow out in the wide open grass field. Must be pretty quiet up there, nobody bothers them! What variety is that one, must be an early cropper too since its so far N?

Kind of like resin straps. Yeah thats right didn't really notice, I think the resinous part of the bract margin is non-serrated! Good catch. Will have to check that when I'm out there next.

Did you see bass and wood's hash shaker method with a saws all and dry ice?

I rarely smoke my hash too. Not going to spend too much time on it.

A couple of handfuls of Buds and about 2 cups of golf ball sized chunks of dry ice. 60 second shake at low / medium speed

Broken stub of a blade joined to an angle bracket. Others have simply heated and bent a heavy duty saw blade. Use a plastic 1 gallon paint can as the metal ones tore the base out in just a few minutes.

I just put the bubble hash on top of the flower in a pipe. Works well. Need to store the hash properly air tight and in the fridge after making it. Maybe I will like it more. I just like flower most of the time, but hash does have a special taste.

Would be cool to make kief and press it with heat to get the rosin. Would like to try smoking that, its close to 70-80% THC I think.

I've dabbled in bubble hash it seems easier than dry sift but it's hard to consume it just melts. I want to make some real hash you can smoke on a pin under a glass
I hear you on the old school vibe. That said, the purer the hash then it will melt, and if it is tasty and clean that is excellent IMO. I use that waxed hemp stuff for the flame and use a stainless steel screen on a water pipe. Just gently hover the flame over the hash until it bubbles. Nice clean hits.

The old school hash that doesn't melt because its not pure trichome heads and therefore slowly burns like incense because of the plant matter contaminants. Not that its bad, but very different than full melt.
