i was asking people questions about prevention of snails and earwigs by means of organics.. so ill tell u what ppl told me (iv yet to try),, if u have earwigs around (esp in greenhouses).. roll up a newspaper and set it on the ground. come back each day and stomp the newspaper.,. earwigs like to crawl in there, sleep or do whatever. but they are apparently attracted to that.., just keep doing that till earwigs are no longer..
Also for snails and slugs, u can spread fireplace ash around the perimeter of ur garden (or around individual plants).. or u can use sawdust, egg shells, and u can also set up little bowls of beer. apparently they drink the beer and die (make sure u get the cheap shit, we all know that damn near kills us too, should them pests)...
another tip.. if ur going to do guerilla style, or dont want to pack water to ur location (even though this tip is kinda too late), u can pack in 50 gal drums and burry them in the ground, and cover with a screen. let rain fill the drums up for u.. then just get a pail and fetch water out of it..
hope that helps someone.. as i too am gearing up for OD season, im as excited as a puppy wit 2 peckers..

Im wondering if its good to veg in hydro (ie) rockwool and transplant to soil and flower outdoors, or would this shock them too much, has anyone tried this technqic?

Yeh they get really shocked with the hydro i tried to run them with and switch to BIO. The Unit i used was a AeroFLo20 so maybe Ebb and Flows can work but i doubt it. Good Luck Hovah i wouldn't try it with all your OD cuts.

Hydro units can sucessfully be transplanted to soil, but its easier to do this indoors first, put em in pots, so sufficient rooting is developed, (about a week to ten days or so)then just wrap the roots in newspaper and tape to hold it together while transporting. The plants respond much quicker, having been in a soil environment just a couple weeks prior to going outdoors! as for trail markers, they can be tricky if you have a lot of animals wandering about, I use a narrow part of a path, to set a few branches and see if they have been disturbed, also leave a couple dollar bills off the main path toward my spot and if its gone then someone was there and it weren't no bear! lol

I plan on growing 600 to 1000 clones this season, i want to spend the least amount of time at the site , the question is how much water would i need, i already have 20 55gallon cans, will this be enough for the entire grow, or do i need more? thanks in advance 1HOVAH
