lol glow stick never heard of that. I water in the day so not a prob. But i would suggest using the pull down method that Eddy lepp has spoken of in some of his Seminars. What you do is pull the plant down towards its base away from the sun and other plants to expose it to more light. Make sure you use a thick rope and protect the plant from the rope cutting into it . Maybe a piece of cardboard or rubberhose to place between the rope and the plant. Good Luck on everybodys od ... Badmf will have some tips for us.

Hey Ivy, You could try bug nets over your babies. It would filter the light a little but it shouldn't affect them too badly and it would keep the flying pests off of them.Just make sure they aren't touching your plants, good luck!

Bast, sizzle and fry em! yummy! :yummy: The organic spray works; boil down garlic(whole couple cloves) 2 onions, cayenne pepper, in a large pot ( 2 gallons) a couple hours, let cool then strain, add 1/2 cup liquid detergent(Bronners peppermint works too), spray both sides of all leaves. They also sell hot pepper wax, Bio Bizz has Buzz Off too. Neem oil is also handy but 'hoppers don't mind it much. Test the mixture on a section of your plants first for burning!

outdoor hydro...

outdoor hydro...

Bury a water jug next to your plant...and run wicks down into the soil around the plant. This will ensure water even during the dryest spells.

Ivy...You forgot the barbeque grill!! :yummy:
Good protein for the long hikes to your plants. :biglaugh:

Badmf: I always use the Bronners soap and was always wondering if it was good on plants. I'm definately gonna try that recipe out. It sound good as a salad dressing too.

I'm definately looking forward to this season outdoors. :canabis:

I second the liquid fence, there is nothing worse to go out to the plot and see you 35 clones eaten to the ground overnight, didn't happen to me but my friend was pissed.

Oh heres a tip if you can call it that! buy a "Old Farmers Almanac" it has all time day lengths and season rainfall averages etc plus loads of useful tips! I got one for 2.49 not bad, eh? Longest days for west coast US is mid June daylength is 14 hours and 47 minutes, you like myself probably assumed it was much longer! But maybe you knew this and I am the only one on the entire planet that didn't, so I will now go to my room and stand in the corner!

i cannot wait till the outdoor seasons starts. its snowing here today so it will be a while before i start the plants. i have done one successful outdoor grow in the last few years. i planted one footers into 3 gallon pots and placed them into a powerline alley. i placed them on the sides of the openess of the powerlines and spread them out. i watered in august and picked them in late sept. nothing special....its actually sucked! my indoor plants where ten times better but i am positive it was all genetics.i was given"insanely potent" seeds from a older stoner grower and gave them a try. i ended up giveng him all the outdoor weed and thanked him in the end. this year i am goin to order some good strians and set out 5 gallon buckets and see how that goes. i have fencing that i will use and have a spot all planned out. cant wait. it will get me out hiking more too!
