Folks!
Some more budporn!
Must be said: the Dutch Passion auto's performed very good, and will yield more than initially estimated.
One Big Devil is really really resinous! A thing to pay attention to.
Concerning the autoflowers:
I was yet again surprised by the density of the buds. When trimmed, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between good indoor grown buds and these autoflowers. Really nice. Some buds formed openclusters, but the buds were all compact in density, even the sativa-looking ones. Also note almost all the autoflower made very little fluffy buds. There were a couple, but not a lot.
Also they have a nice smell. Apart form the Auto Extreme, which smells somewhat neutral/ruderalis. Could be the phenotype, we'll know in a little while when the big Auto Extremes in the big greenhouse finish (in 4-5 weeks or so).
AutoMazar smells like the real thing: Mazar!
Think Different has 2 distinct phenotypes: Melon and White/hazey
Auto Blueberry hasn't been judged yet.
The auto Mazar has the most compact nugs. (Afghani dominant)
Think Different makes thick clusterbuds (resemblance of the AK-47 (out of the AK420) background) Produces big cola's and big buds. When dealing with high temperatures, they tend to form little skunk-like flower towers. 2nd flowering is almost standard with this strain. Very nice. One could let them finish the second flowering and yield a big load of powerfull and very stony bud. Almost all resin glands are amber, the new ones are still stranslucent-on to milky. This will produce a very powerfull mix in effects.
-Note: when doing this, be sure to check extra for mold (botritis) every single day! (one rainy day will do it..)
But for the ones who like a bit more high, harvest them when 2nd flowering is about to commence. Cristals will all be milky and bits of amber.
The stems were again very big, branching was good in every strain! They are however quite sensitive to mold. Grow these auto's in a dry climate if you want to grow them outdoors. Indoor growers must maintain a RH of max 45% during the entire flowering cycle. (note: these auto's are perfect for direct 12/12 indoors!)
Enough blabla... picture time!
