I got a really nice 11blade leaf i want to dry and frame for posterity... i got it laid out in a book right now but im wondering how people do this?

I know you need to flatten it [duh] then do you let it dry completely or just somewhat? Finally how do you seal it?

Thanks for any info :)

Maybe try the toker's den. Did you google it? I'm sure you'll find a million ways to dry a leaf and save/display it. I'm not 100% sure, but I have seen people make lighters and stuff with laminated leaves like clear stickers with real leaves inside etc.. Good luck

I remember placing between wax paper then pressing in a really big book.

Good luck.

Hit up Michael's, or what ever craft store you have near by. They've got about 800 different ways to display flowers and such.

I seem to remember my mother using a sealant of some kind after she dried it out.

I remember wax paper on both sides flatten for a short while and iron flat with a towel to buffer the iron heat. Seventh grade leaf project.
