do you guys see increased yields using teas with bone/blood/kelp even though the plants are not showing any deficiencies?
The best yields are achieved when the plant if fed the proper amount of food, provided with enough CO2 and given enough light. When the plant is happy, it rewards you with the best yield the genetics can offer.
What I like about blood/bone/kelp is the plant has the food it needs and takes up what it wants. Guano teas allow the grower tailor the feedings to respond to the plants needs as the grower becomes familiar with the signs the plant shows him.
Any of the recipes in this thread will give the plant what it needs when used properly.

That is what I assumed, so you never use guano teas or age old if your plants are still eating up the blood/bone/kelp, but would you use compost teas every week? Say if you were to start a plant outdoors with a season of 5 months and you started with a big mix of bone/blood/kelp when would you start feeding with something like guano teas/age old/earth juice etc. and how often would you apply compost teas? Ive never used teas with the bone/blood/kelp thats why im asking.
If your plants show a deficiency, by all means supplement. I don't use compost teas, I use worm casting tea every watering with a little molasses.

excellent, good to know im not holding em back with lack of guano teas.
Do you use ewc tea outside? seems you would need big 50 gallon containers with a little compressor to do that.
Heck yeah! They're asking you for nitrogen. Most seedlings need food at three weeks. Better watch out. They'll JUMP!BurnOne, I'm curious if the veg tea for LC's mix is going to be okay for my seedlings that are a little over three weeks old. I know that ordinarily you wouldn't but they're in Light Warrior which doesn't offer much in the way of food for them and they've all yellowed beyond the cotyeldons, some's first set are yellowing now. I'm waiting to transplant them to 1 gals but in the mean time I need to give them something beyond EWC & molasses, I think. Thoughts?
All you need to do is mix in 1 cup worm castings per 5 gallons of water and pour it on the roots of your outside plants. You don't have to bubble it.

would you still let it sit for 24 hours or just mix it up and water? What about Guano teas outside? Whats the major benefit to bubbling vs just mixing up and watering on the spot?
You don't have to bubble it. You can make it in the morning and simply stir it good a few times throughout the day. Then use it that evening.

Worm casting tea adds microbes and humates. Use it every watering with or without Neptune's Harvest or fish. Please elaborate, what's the benefit of the EWC in the water?
I will be using Neptune's Harvest as directed in LCs Soiless Mix #2 , but wondering whats best to feed them in-between the NH feedings.
Actually, I can't seem to find information on how often to feed the NH during each different stage in this thread. The application directions say every 2-3 weeks. Is this correct? The same for the fish emulsion?
Thanks!
