Organic VS chemical nutrients

Do you get stronger smell during glowering when using organic nutes like fox farms or when using chemical nutrients..this is mostly geared towards soil growers SD I'm curious as to shay people's experiences have been..

In my experience organic soil has given me the best result. Discovering gypsum as an amendment was the biggest breakthrough for me. Smell became much more complex and stronger, even in veg. I believe it is the element Sulfur in the gypsum (calcium sulfate) that adds to smell.

But don't listen to the hype that organic is the only way to do things. There are peeps on here getting brilliant results with soluble chemical nutrients. Croptober has such great looking flowers I can't believe that they wouldn't have excellent smell too!!

Well, I am a straight chemical grower, rockwool croutons and GH3 nutrient system.
Even strains known to be pungent come out low odor.
In the past Bat Guano has been successful but is too much effort and mess just to make the plants stink more.

Currently I am adding magnesium sulfate and the aroma is improved without being overwhelming. Calcium sulfate sounds intriguing, now I need to run a side be side against the Epsom Salts.

Fox farm isn't organic. Only 2 items out out the hole line up. Big bloom and there kelp. I learned that after I started using it.

Yea I knew ff wasn't 100% organic I probably should have found a bttr example of organic Vs chemical but that's the first thing that came to mind so my bad on that guys..I knew ff was like halfNhalf..

100% fully amended organic soil is the only way to grow for me. Nothing but water required to get from start to finish once you build your soil.

I can't imagine growing any other way.

DF you not brew compost tea during the grow, you are relying on the EWC originally added to the soil?

Can you handle the Truth?

You have to begin with knowing/realizing that not all Organic or Inorganic nutrients are equal to their group, starting with the quality of water

Then you need to know that plants have no problem breaking down inorganic matter for the nutrients, when those nutrients are in balance to the plants needs

So, when using high quality inorganic nutrients, like Hydroponic Research, there will be zero benefit in quality to using Organic

Of course the Organic Kool Aid drinkers will refuse to believe this

Correct. I do not brew compost teas.

Base soil is about 10% EWC. When I re-amend the soil and it is cycled out and resting/composting again, I'll add back some fresh EWC each time. Typically, I'll add dry molasses and beneficial bacteria directly to the EWC before mixing them into the larger media volume.

If I ever decide to top dress because I don't feel like transplanting, I'll typically mix the amendments into a bit of EWC as well...

If I had the space to do permanent beds, I'd be doing exactly like Lapides and adding worms directly to them.

What brand of dried molasses do you use? I'd rather get a couple pallets of it for my outdoor this season vs. A few hundred gallons of liquid. My local feed store sells the "sweetlix" brand

Rockwool outdoors sounds interesting, can you get big plants this way? or do you do autoflowers?

is mixing knf and high brix methods with ewc and compost outdoors in 200 gallon pots a good idea?

No. You've already wasted brain cells thinking about that silly shit. Don't waste space money and time also. Mystery hippy ingredients have never helped organics succeed. The narrative that you should throw random shit at a plant is coming from CLOWNS. The organics industry is ran by ex growers who: couldn't make money growing, couldn't make money breeding, couldn't make money consulting, so they start a manure fanclub of novices and make money peddling trash and poop.

There is no secret to organics except the nutrients are attached to microbe shit. That's the only shit you need. One component of microbe shit being methylation support products (B vitamins), the other part being carboxylic acids, from which cannabinoids and terpenoids derive. Enzymes are not the limiting factor to hydroponics. Nor are their cofactors. Neither are consumed in the reactions we are interested in, they are only catalysts. People are overdoing this "high brix, hight calcium, poop for days" nonsensical in organics, it was already there with basic inputs.

Precursor Atmosphere Technology: If I'm growing Super Jesus Cheese #3, I want microbes that produce isovaleric acid. If I'm growing for thc isolate, I want microbes that produce olivetolic and hexanoic acid.

Cannabis does not want to eat free radicals. It wants the carboxylic acid attached. You don't need to wreck your life playing in worm shit all day. Buy microbes from Tainio, not Amazon. Follow their directions, not some idiot on icmags. Boom. Life is easy. Weed is good. The only compost should be your own quality inputs, composted in your own medium, with the microbes you want. Not what waste products someone sells you on a youtube vlog.
