Never got the organic vs chemical debate..since plants can only absorb nutrients that are diluted in water. So it's the same stuff either way. And you can always flush.

I do however understand the moral issues..By building our agriculture on non sustainable recources it is bound to collapse at some point. All chemical ferts are VERY wasteful of energy!

really there isnt shit for difference in taste with anything organic. people who say there is are just experiancing a placebo effect. organic products are way overmarketed, it also explains the successful and growing 'organic' foods market. all chemicals used on fruits or vegetables are made so that their they do not modify the taste of any of the products they are used on.

i dunno....

I have a friend who grows some sfv og... some plants are done all organic... while the others are just organic based....
You can definately tell the difference between the taste and look...
The organic taste amazing, even before curing, or being completely dry...
Where the nonorganic, still has that grass/hay smell whens its super fresh/ just dried.
The nonorganic has larger buds, that have a less bubbley/calyx look to em.

I definately think you can tell a difference

IMO organic tastes better, and I can tell the difference personally. With cannabis, it seems to take on a deeper, thicker, sweeter tastes with organic. Or atleast that has been my experiance as I've had pot sampled from dozens of people of the same strain. But it does depend on the grower also, and I know quite a few people that know their shit, they see it themselves that organic is a better smoke, but if they are going for weight that might not be their choice.

Also I've been eating organic fruits, veggies, and meats all of my life and everytime I have a commercial or chemical grown piece of food there is a difference. Organic is always better.

Not a placebo effect! Really a difference!

Not a placebo effect! Really a difference!

Depending on who grows it, where it was grown, How it was grown will give you your results! The same person can grow a 100% soil organic crop with a 100% hydro chemical NFT table right next to it, with the same light, and the end buds will be different!
The organics in soil give a much larger variety of food for the microorganisms to eat, then feed the plants themselves!
I have been going Crazy over this whole Organic Vs. Chemical debate.
Chemical fertilizers are usually only a few different things that the plants Need to eat to thrive. In an organic soil, the plants have all of those chemicals Plus millions of other brews and concoctions that the micro life has been making to give to the plants. When the plants roots live with the fungus and bacteria. The roots produce food for the "Friendlies" while they make a perfect environment for the roots to live. That give and take relationship makes many more chemicals that are not in the bottles of fertilizers.
Lots of organic growers explain how to feed the Soil, Not the plant! There have been a few articles in the past few Heads magazines. Check them out on the web.
Anyone who thinks that I am BS, go and grow a pot of soil and see for yourself. You can't even use chlorinated water or it will kill all of your micro life! It's not an easy thing to replicate the great outdoors in a pot.
many dutch gardens have switched to large raised beds of dirt because of the difficulty in keeping the soil alive. It takes a while for the soil to get cooking with life. It's easier to keep it going then to start new all the time.
Advanced nutes has a few products for the micro life in particular. Voodoo Juice sounds great, it gives life to a pot of soil.
I am actually trying a new technique of a fertilized soil on top of the coco. The top roots give food to the plants while the bottom supplies water. I will let you know how it goes. Just my thoughts.

Organic tastes better hands down. I just did a side by side with good chemical nutes vs bat guano, wormcastings etc and the organic grow yielded slightly less but tasted and smells way yummier...

Same goes for veggies... ever grown your own potatoes or onions??? Nothing compares to digging up your own organic veg...

BUT... that doesnt guarantee that the organic produce will taste better from the supermarket compared to the normal stuff... but go to a farmers market or if in the UK Tescos organic range is incredible and affordable...

Face it... plants love to grow in well rotted manure, compost and guano... just like they have for millions of years.
