Weather is turning spring up here finally, its 70 degrees as I sit here at work right now. Should be nice for the next 7 days with small amounts of rain wich will just help water my girls. I was shooting for a mothers day planting and it looks like Im going to be right on schedule. Still getting in the 50's at night but they should be fine, they are all big girls right now, topped them a week or so ago, so they are turning into little shrubs. 8-10 inches tall and about the same across the canopy.

I can honestly say that you are the first person to ever tell me you haven't liked that strain. No disrespect, we all have our preferences, but it out yielded anything I have ever grown and could take a ton of abuse, and thrived regardless of environment. Its definitely not a top ten cup winner, but I could smoke it all day.

Yes, I knew it was going to happen. That's how that strain tells you its getting close, so its just a matter of clear/amber now. Cant fucking wait for this one, like I said above its only been 4 years since I have smoked it lol.

Not bad. I'll be watching... Have a good season !

Greetings for Poland :tiphat:

Hello from Portland lol. Well I am being really lazy tonight, my girlfriends GSO came over on Friday morning and dropped off a package so its pretty much been a cloud of smoke around here all weekend. Weather has turned well, all the spots are looking really good and the soil has had time to sit. So I'm going to give a full and proper update tomorrow. For now here's a picture of that package trimmed and into jars for curing and smoking. Left to right, Grape Krush, Mango Haze, Cali O, Cindy 99, Cindy 99, and Pre 98 Bubba Kush, all indoor organic soil, all the time.

Hope everyone had a happy mothers day. My mom got to come home from the hospital today after a lengthy stay for surgery.

Well I ended staying up late and doing some things, so you are going to get a pictue update tonight. Things are looking really good in the cab, I have been getting better as the time goes by. Everything has been topped and ready to go outside just as soon as I am sure the good weather is here to stay. I am going to take clones off of my best Sputnik #1 and my Indica Church and keep them for an indoor run this fall. With that being said, here are the ladies. All are around day 30-35 from seed.

My two church girls, the one on the right might be some of the best topping Ive ever done.

Next up my two short and squat Sputniks

My two best Sputniks, both will be cloned and saved

Just a cool little shot into one side of my room, two big sputniks and the topped church in the front

Let me know what you think, they will all be in the ground by this time next week, can honestly say I am going to miss the little bitches when they are gone. I have re learned so much again this time around. I am going to be growing my own medicine for the first time in 5 years come fall, so this is a great test run for me to start getting back into the grove. I think they will all be good for a couple ounces a peice if they make it??? :):):)

I hope the weather stays nice for you Samson! It rained almost half an inch at home this morning so all my cover should be nice and green still. Should be getting the clones this week, friend has been sick for awhile now.. I just got back from Lake Shasta last night. Greatest weekend ever...

Well done Samson! With all that prep you should get at least a few z's! I separated males the other day, and I'm getting some plastic up on the Greenhouse tomorrow. Weather has finally turned for the better. I've had the ladies outside for a couple of days to harden off, inside at night of course.

Sagepreskool- was just in your area on Sat. handing out ladies to some med patients. Gov'y, Rt. 216, and Maupin. Gorgeous weekend out there.

Pics in a day or two.

GL

P.S. Samson, that Black Domina and BLue Magoo is incredible smoke.

That's sick dude. I am happy that you got to experience shasta as a student, its an epic tradition that has gone on at OSU for years. My first year, a student died trying to jump ship to ship and didn't make it. So you always have to be careful, but I definitely had many night hallucinating on that island :) Only went two times, my first year and last year at OSU, the last year was a send off to the crew that were all graduating and splitting up. I miss those boys and those times so much, cherish them, one day you will have a real life and its pretty boring lol

Thanks for checking in Horse. Truthfully, I would have them out late this week if I weren't taking a trip to southern Oregon. I have to help a friend down there dig some very very big holes, one of my favorite places to be this time of year.

Glad those strains came out good for you, definitely have bud envy for the moment lol. My girls GSO came through with some Pre 98 Bubba Kush that is just knock out stuff. He left one plant 10 weeks and it almost turned black its so dark green/purple, made me sleepwalk the other night.....

Well its been in the 80s up here for a week or better now, should stay for a few more days then a few days of rain. What I am getting at is, tomorrow is the big day. I am all prepped, the pack is packed, the cages are built, the car is loaded. If I can park mat my spot and make it across the road and into the forest I will be all good. I am very excited and very anxious at the same time. Basically from this point forward I am only going to update one patch that I am planting (gotta keep some stuff a secret you know):) The patch that I will be following will have 4 plants, 2 Spoetnik #1 and The Church both of Indica Dominance.

Here's a group shot their last night in the garage.

picture.php

Here's a shot of my favorite church, really hoping this one turns into a shrub, clones will be taken and this one will be saved. It has stunk to high heavens since it has gotten it first set of real leaves. I can only hope as much for the smoke.

Nice dark green leaf off a big Spoetnik #1 Plant.

If I make it out of the woods well tomorrow I will update again with the patch. Oregon Brothers and Sister and fellow IC maggers send me out good Karma at sunrise tomorrow.

I was up early this morning brother sending some good vibes out. Hope the trip went well, and the ladies took to their new home. Best of luck this season, your learning curve for the rest of your life has made a HUGE jump forward.

Last three days has been all non-growing kinds of hectic. Plants in the ground this coming week.

GL all!

Well I made it out of the woods safely this morning. The only thing I really encountered that caused me any trouble, is that the brush was so fucking dense this time through and it was a bitch with my pack, cages and cooler full of gear. This was a good thing in retrospect because no on is going to stumble upon these plants, and seriously it would be a pretty desperate deer to want to try and get them, if they could even find them. I am feeling optimistic about this grow today, more now than I have been.

Here's my runty church in the ground. After this one I was too dirty to get my camera, full update sometime next week.

I took a deep breath and looked to the clouds today, I could feel the good vibes and didn't see a soul through the whole encounter, love when Karma gives back, because I give to Karma all the time lol.

Well they have been out there for 10 days now. I am fighting the urge to go check on them, i know they don't need water since its been raining and I am trying to visit as little as needed so as not to create trails. At the two week mark, I'm going to go back and feed them and re apply the slug bait, although they are all wrapped with copper wires on the bases of their stalks. I took one plant to my OMMP garden and it shot up almost a foot the first week it was outside, so I am hoping the same for these girls.

Horse you get anything in the ground yet?

Sage how bout you? You get your clones?

Its been dead around here for a bit, I'm assuming its because we have all been potting plants!!

Hey Samson-

Sorry it's been awhile but I've been pretty busy lately. Supposed to be doing the clones today or tomorrow and then hoping to put them outside after I move back home for the summer..

Good luck with your 2 week checkup!

Took my first walk out into the woods today expecting the worst, It has basically poured down rain and been cold as hell at night since I put the girls out 2 weeks ago, I figured they would all be dead, but to my surprise only one was in horrible shape and the others were injured, but showed tremendous growth since I had put them out, nearly doubled in size.

Here is the biggest of the Spoutniks out there, as you can see there is a little standing water in the hole, but I solved that problem. The rain also washed away all my slug bait, so as you can see on the tops, the slugs have done a number on them as well.

picture.php

So here's the plan to solve all of this. I went back with a bag of cori pieces and put them around the base of the plants to soak up extra water in the even of more rain. As for the slugs, I am going back tomorrow with a bucket of sand and am going to make some rings around each one. I should have a full update tomorrow, with pictures. Cant believe the vertical growth in these girls dispite all the shitty rain we have had recently. Really impressed by the strength of these two strains. [/I]

Glad they all made it even with the slimy attackers. Hopefully this sunny weather we are due for down here reaches your girls as well.

Thanks Humbolt, we got a little of that sun today, so I went on another hike and took care of a few things. I miss Humbolt county, I used to spend my summers there in college up on a hill. I would swim in Salmon Creek, run the fields during the day, never felt so at peace as I did the time I got to spend there. An old man up there used to grow the best damn purplewreck and rhinowreck, I would smoke myself silly on those two strains and hash beer :)
