Hi Nomaad, one of the largest, but I average pretty well, this one in the lower center left of the pic, went 7-8 feet high and 12 feet across (the containers are 6ft wide). Salmon Creek Big Bud clone. Raised breathing containers about 400 gallons that year - soil mix in my forum. The Ace trash can is about to be packed full about 5-6 times with bud, it was mid-October :) No offense taken, it's good to see other folks throwing the directions away and breaking new ground. -T

monsters! absolutely beautiful. i'm ready to order my 400 gallon smartpots for next year... here is a good question for you, since I've got you here... if i still do... let's say I'm going to run a really vigorous strain in a greenhouse with supplemental lighting and C02, vegging from mid January till April 1st... each plant will have its own 600w HPS for supplemental lighting... what sized container do you think I should rock for max efficiency?

also, I reread the "homework' I mentioned in the last post and I see why you see why people get that mixed up.

I would go 18 inches deep then just as wide as I could afford financially, lol. My roots reached the edges of my containers by July 1rst. Plant growth slows as soon as this happens, it's no different from growing banzai. You saw this, or your ladyfriend sure did anyway.

Anyhow, Just dropping in to say hello and offer encouragement to those who dare to push the limits.-T

I'm starting to like the idea of digging out and amending the ground beneath the planters, as we could get excessive with container diameter otherwise, it seems. Think I may be getting busy with the backhoe this winter...

That's about half the plant it was vegged for approx. 4 months and flowered under 1000W HPS .. I will try and dig up a picture of the full plant.

This is my first outdoor grow (guerilla), and was wondering what the experienced think about these two candidates, both A.C.E. Panama. The first is 9 nine feet tall +/-, the second about 7 feet. I really wish these went out in May now!

I believe these two ladies are eligible to join the OPOP or greater crowd.

There are some awesome trees being posted here. :yoinks:
Here is our biggest plant this season. It's a G13/Hash Plant. We planted three of this strain but only one got this big. I'm sure it will be well over a pound.

Actually, I think all in our garden this season should be OPOPs. Most are about 5.5'-6'. This pic was taken on 8/27.

Lookin good, GG.

Still no fencing support? It is very windy here now, and blew all through the night. Strange...a warm wind, too. Watching everything get blown around like mad...little worrysome, but I'm glad they're well supported.

Thanks, glad you all like my garden. I love this thread. Some of the gardens here have really got me thinking how much better mine could be. And here I thought I had it down. lol :canabis:

Grandma, those are unbelievable. I imagine they are growing directly in the ground.
Yes, I've found that works great for me. Although we are researching the giant grow bags I keep seeing here and determining what benefits they may have

We put the cages up almost a month ago. You just can't see them because the plants have bushed out. You can see one of the cages on the Skunk (runt) it this pic, and on some of the other plants if you look hard.
We put them up before the first good winds, which you can tell from this pic have already started. (windy day)
