i've been straight PBP veg/flower soil formula now for several years, but GROW BIG just recently made its way into the lineup...

I did NOt get the FF flower nutes, stuck with the PBP flower for now because... it WORKS well.

I used john innes compost 50/50 perlite with canna terra nutes with bio biz top max with seaweed extract... no ph ajustment
once I got them tuned in they blew up

i use the foxfarms trio and have had good results.its not fancy, but its not complicated either.

I use 1/2 strength grow big and half strength PBP for veg and 1/2 strength tiger bloom and 1/2 PBP for flower.Foxfarm contains a lot of good inmgredients including trace elements which PBP does not have.On the other hand PBP contains humic acids for nutrient uptake that fox farm doesnt have,a combination of both works great for me

man, you are a SAVIOR! i've got everything you just listed, minus the tiger bloom [which i will be getting for flower, dont have to worry about that yet].

Only liquid karma,and I use that sparingly because of the humic acids in PBP.The only other thing I use that I didnt mention is 5-1-1 fish emulsion,I'll use that along with the grow big and PBP,I mix a lot of nutes

that's the routine im lookin forward to... mixin' lots of nutes on a budget... i've got most of what you're using and im super glad you've replied, bro... that's some good karma and motivation to go ahead and do what im thinkin...

how are you applying that fish emulshion? at what rate? thanks once agianf or answering my Qs, bro.

I use 1 tbls per gallon of water after they are about 6-8 inches tall,you can use 2 when are in later veg but I usually just use 1.Beware nothing drops nutrient ph like fish emulsion,nothing even comes close.I have to use nearly a whole tbls of ph up along with the tbls of 5-1-1 otherwise it drops my nutrient ph to about 4.0,and thats with a 7.4 starting ph!You will have to use ph up with fish emulsion for sure

Unless you balance it out with some PSB [ peruvian seabird guano ] Old formula was 11-13-3 and the new stuff is 10-10-2. PSB will raise the ph a lot, just as much as AK 5-1-1 will drop it. I havent used ph up in years.

Forgot to mention the downside and that this stuff makes the 5-1-1 smell good.
