Opinions on Grow Box

home depot does have some prefabed cabinets that would probably suit your needs. you still have to put it together and make a few modifications (like light proofing and cutting a few holes) but that maybe exactly what you need. still it will be a bit more expensive than building your own. i got a 22x48x71 cab at home depot (unfortunatly i was never able to use it) for about 120.

the problem i keep finding with most pre-fabbed ones is depth. some are only 13''

check out home depot im sure u will find some that have near a 2 foot depth. if not the you can build one. it really isnt that hard. just remember plan out everything first and it will go fast and smooth. kno how many 2 by 4s you need at what lenght and how many plywood pannels at what size. actually have a list . if you do this i cant imagine it taking more that a weekend to complete.

I find it hilarious that this site says they decided to create thier company b/c of the OTHER people charging rediculous amounts, hmmmm, 1300 bucks is cheap......right...

im gonna try and piece together the original box that was posted, the cab itself is only 55 bucks at HD, and i will be going with a 250, instead of 400 should be easier to keep clean, and with just under 4sq ft, 250 should be plenty of light.

i need to find some more pics of this so i can get a better idea of ventilation setup.

i was thinking about a scrog or sog in it. i heard scrog/sog needs clones not seeds?

sog is better with clones but it can be done with seeds just not with as much success. if they are F1 hybrids then i would say it should be fine, but anything else will result in uneven growth. scrog you can do with clone or seed doesnt reall matter as you are creating a even cannopy with the screen. personally i do test runs of new seeds with scrog on a very small scale (1'x1'x2' area for each female plant) then i pick the best female and they go into a sog setup. SOG is great come harvest time, one big cola for each plant.
