I'm surprised he is tolerated. Nothing but toxic BS, insulting everyone who isn't him, and dude will not ever respond. Not ever, I have tried engaging him. Just does his little drive by posts, lumping everyone who isn't him into the "pothead" category as if that's a bad thing in and of itself.

Dude contributes nothing, and it's sad because I think he "could" if he weren't such a toxic personality.
A few people here to be honest are tolerated to a degree and also contribute nothing even the ones who dont grow to a degree which is in my eyes.. Well i will seal my mouth and just bear and grin it all same as a lot do.. But yes i understand where your coming from as a long served member or not long served it gets frustrating at times, but sometimes it just pays to turn the other cheek and ignore the writing on the wall so to speak,, sooner or later the walls always come crumbling down toxic or not it happens..:tiphat:

I'm no expert on how the legal market rules are, but my educated guess is that...

1) Grower/company harvests and dries the crop.

2) Grower/company sends crop in to be tested/ irradiated.

3)They get crop back, irradiation has destroyed some Terps.

4) Then spray, bag in their branded bags, toss in a boost pack and off to the dispensaries.

Just a guess though. The biggest red flag for me is that substance that coats the scissors every joint. My bud does not do this. Scrape it off with a knife, touch it with a flame and sniff.

Not hash! Spray residue??? Also harder on my lungs than mine...

I could be wrong, but it's just wierd...I don't trust it.

Do the dispensaries over there go through any sort of rigorous testing for having dodgy shit with in the product?

I was thinking the organic producers would be under stricter regulations, then maybe that would come up as showing high levels of metal.. (I'm sure there's many ways around these things)

I recall watching a cook program from the States and the chef was using the terpenes as a food flavouring on many dishes, some of the clientel were filthy rich and rather famous.
I wouldn't mind my wagu steak tasting of myrcene.

idk man... u ever smelled or tasted pure myrcene?

idk if i want my steak to taste like a balloon, even if it's tender af...
Maybe not then in a highly concentrated level..

Was interesting how the chef used different terpenes for the different levels of building flavor to accompany different dishes.

I would much prefer to get stoned myself..

sorry man, i don't mean to step on your toes... just opinionated and desperately need everyone to share my exact same opinion.

that actually does sound amazing, i swear the one stardawg budder i get tastes just like a specific something in ramen noodles.

and i agree... even if it tastes like raccoon shit wrapped in kirkland dryer sheets... i'll still hold my nose and smoke it if it gets me high just right.

Condensed Terpenes have a artificial taste and smell to them. Even when you recover Terpenes from a vacuum they generally smell like burnt rubber or artificial detergents.

You could absolutely spray Condensed Terpenes on the flower and pass any panel so long as the material used to make the Terpenes was clean.

Outside of mechanical separated terps most high Terpene fractions are not very representative of the flower they came from. They can certainly taste good but they won't taste like the flower exactly because processes tend to modify the profile of the flower.

The most legit way to add flavor to some flower is to freeze dry some trim and smalls from the flower and recover the Terpenes from a cold trap hooked to the vacuum. At least you would have a proper flower profile enhanced by the same material lot.

i keep thinking it's a lot to do with missing thiols (if we are to believe they are what make the skunky smells), and perhaps oxidated terps, idk... i just know i can tell the vape carts that have some witches' brew of terpenes vs. a cart that has real shit gotten from a real cannabis strain.

night and day.

Cannabis flavors are way more than just a few predominant terpenes. We have just to begun to understand what complexity is found in cannabis flavors. Unfortunately lab test set us back because of the focus on a few common terpenes.

I was referring to terpenes that are naturally derived from the plant...

Maybe your looking for some delicate citrusy notes for your swordfish, a suttle hint of limonene would be a match made in heaven.

Are you seeking a floral essence, maybe a Greek salad with fresh rose petals, linalool.

I guess you can identify with caryophyllene with its wonderful hints of black pepper, yum...
Myrcene for all things savory and depending how brave you are..

If only I could pair one with Brussel sprouts.. Winner winner chicken dinner.

You have to admire culinary science, just keeps on giving...
