Only half of plant stressed

I have a BOG Sour Bubble in my outdoor garden that’s having some trouble on only one half. The leaves are tacoing pretty good and no signs of them unfolding. The other half of the plant looks fine though...

Temps in the northern Bay Area of CA have been in high 70s at the hottest, and RH has been in 30s. I water every other day from our non fluoridated tap water. About 7.5 ph before using GreenGro nutes.

Note: one plant got attacked by aphids in the garden two weeks ago, but none of the others have been hit yet. I used spinosad foliar on all plants, but the best defense has been to just just my hands to wipe every single leaf clean. Their numbers have severely diminished since.

Anyhow, what could be causing only one half of the plant to taco like this? Both sides of plant have fans blowing on it, and the taco side receives a little more sunlight daily. Not sure how it all correlates.
TIA

On only half the plant? Wouldn’t the whole thing be stressed?

Is there anything I can do for aphids in the last week or two of flower? One of my plants has three weeks to go too. Little nervous about dosing so soon to chop. I have DE on the way.

I hear you all are having big winds.. is it on the windward side of the plant? might be drying out on that side.

Put up wind block, if so.

Good thinking but I wouldn't expect wind to cause damage at those daytime temps. What's around you? The symptoms suit "spray drift" exactly. Roundup drift would do that. Hot water out of a garden hose would too. THIMK! What's happened in yr garden that's unusual?

Last summer I had a plant that wilted completely on one side. The other side was fine. My research led to the conclusion that it was an infection of the root area. Fusarium or pythium wilt. There's a few different conditions that can cause this, depending on the organism but fusarium is the most common. Some like very hot temperatures and poorly draining soil but there's a lot of different types that'll match up with about any conditions. In my case it was probably a pythium type, it was warm not hot and the weather was cloudy with some rain. When the sun came back it slowly fought it off. I think it was more about the plant fighting the infection than anything.

You could carefully dig around the root area on the side that's affected, inspect the roots. I'd water with a hydrogen peroxide solution, peroxide is actually a nutrient and it won't harm your plant. If you don't overdo it, maybe two or three times and that's it.

The other thing I'd do is dry the soil out a bit. Your watering regime sounds fine but I'd probably go a bit drier then normal. California growers have had a lot of problems with fusarium, it's a common soil pathogen.

Look into hop latent viroid. This is something I just learned about, but the symptoms sound like what is going on with your plant. If you can get it checked.
