i dont think a vertical flouro, wouldnt be as cost effective, it would depend on what strain your growing i guess, but even then, I personally would lose a foot of light from the bottom of energy transference alone.....flouro's produce extremely tight buds, but are relativley better at close distances such as 3" away, so if your hanging it vertical, expect less light to all the other plants.... It wouldnt be a great idea no....

this is my idea fo a veg box and crunk this why i posted on your thread .... top has 3 X 43W compact flouro and onthe corneres verticaly the 4' floutors......

ok this is crazy been over a week n a half now..and still hasnt gotten here...got my seeds really fast...but the rest of my stuff (ice-o-baggs, honey bee extractor, bio bizz grow, bloom) still arent here.....im getting worried....i ordered last tuesday... and got it sent priority mail.....yet i ordered stuff from cali last sunday and its already arrived(its on the truck for delivery) and that stuff was sent ground!! hmmm i dont get it....darn it i have all this scuff and trim...plus a few bottom nuggs that are rock solid n frosty as hell ready to put in the ice-o-baggs, im staring at two 5 gallon buckets and a cake mixer and 3 cans of lava butane

well it finally came..after much excitement i finally calmed down enough to take pics and clean up the mess i made...heres some shots(note the same sack of scuff/trim/buds....will be used for bubble right away....ill be harvesting soon and more bubble(ice-oh) and butane oil will follow)

damn tropical i hope my projects are as fruitful as yours, that bubble looks amazing ill be running thru the 10 grams of excellent trim i have... as my first practice run on the baggs in a hour or so...ill upload pics of the entire process i got dutch on the way here after he hits the 'store' pics forth coming...
