I kinda doubt it's heat from the bulb unless the rooms already pretty hot. Those cfl's just don't produce that much heat. for a plant to look like that from heat i'd say it would need to be somewhere in the 90's F. And if it were overwatering/underwatering closing the door wouldn't do anything. I wonder about humidity with the door closed & no ventilation. As far as CO2 goes the plant doesn't have to use it all if the air isn't moving. just what's touching the leaves. Do you have a fan in there?
