In Tom Hill's very impressive outdoor grow, he grew 20 plants that yielded 100 pounds. The biggest plant was 7 pounds. That had multiple colas and none approached 1 pound. I believe that it is totally impossible to get one pound dry from one cola. If I ever saw anything that approached that, I would get wood for the first time in several years.

how about a plant trained for a single main cola grown out doors vegged inside for an additional few months. i know its a complete waste of time and energy but it would be so awesome... god im high right now.

nah its real. VERY VERY RARE but it happens.

every hear di wee dalats story? some thai sativas get 30ft tall with an interweaving no main stem top cola that can be 4 ft long and the size of your thigh.

I mean if you pick it apart bract by bract no singly bract will weigh a lb. but the top cola as a dried whole will.

colas can get big

I'm sure theres been 1 pound colas... Think of all the cannabis plants ever grown... There are some sativas that grow over 30 feet tall I can just imagine the main cola on a beast like that,as motaco said no bract is going to weigh a pound in iself but a cola could.

i guess this is another one on the books for Mythbusters! lol sorry guys im extremely high right now

much love all

i think the problem is people dont know what a cola is.

so for everyone who doesnt know what a cola is. Its the main top of the plant above the uppermost node.

A.K.A the thing in So Quicks Pics, and the ones Motaco posted.

see thats the thing about thais though. alot of true thais have no discernable main stem. it grows like a normal top cola looks, but there is no one stem running down the middle like we're all used to.
