One branch is now decaying because LST method gone wrong

Basically I grow 12/12 from seed. Today I saw a knot I made few days ago was overgrown by branch. And now the rest of the branch look like its underwatered or something.

I managed to get knot away so is there still small change that part of plant will survive?

I haven't had issues like this before even tho I used to LST with twine. This time maybe I started too early making LST what do you think?

When I tie them up the loops are loose to avoid girdling.

If that branch recovers, then all good, natch.

I like those cheap plastic wrapped metal wire spools you can get from the dollar store at the beginning of spring. Can reuse them for a few seasons at least outdoor and probably longer indoors.

Otherwise yeah too tight you strangled the poor thing. Have to give the stem some space to grow and thicken.

You started too soon the plant stems are still a little herbaceous and not woody enough. What is that on the top of your container's pea gravel? 😎

I took dead part of branch away and I made topping how my friend adviced me to do.

Is there going to be two branches instead of one because of that topping I made?
