Hey everyone im new to this site and to coco but not to growing. I e done lots of soil and dwc but time for a change. I just stopped using hr veg bloom dirty and will now be running 3/4.5 for barely rooted clones and 6/9 for veg and flower. I have epsom salt just in case (1/4 tsp per gal). I just transplanted some of these terrible looking plants (thanks hr) into coco and watered with 3 /4.5. All nutes are an jungle juice (had some laying around). I have a surgery comming up at end of month do bare with me.
I have new babys : chem d(original), louie iii og(original), raskals fire og (original), vortex and strawberry tahoe (strawberry diesel x tahoe og).
Im trying to save my goji og, some chem d, I lost my ha og, some fire og, alien abduction and so cal master kush. Wish me luck and any advice is not only helpful but appreciated. Ill get some pics up asap.

Those plants look totally fucked. Sorry about that man!

You could definitely pull the light block caps off of your containers. They are really just trapping moisture and increasing the risk of mold/disease taking off. The coco is plenty good at keeping the light from your roots.

A 150w fixture like you have is a big problem in that grow space. You don't make a mention of your tent size but if I had to guess it looks like it is about a 3x3. Which means, I'm guessing, at most rocking like 300-400 umol/sec per M2 (could be as low as 150umol/sec). Considering this is less than 1/2 of the photons the plants want... they are going to be light stressed, slowly grow, and won't have the power needed to flower with any sort of vigor.

If you take a look at the spectral distribution on that UltraSun 150w you'll see that less than 15% of the energy it is producing is in the highly reactive part of the photosynthetic spectrum. Most of that wattage is wasted on the useless 550-650nm range.
http://sunlightsupply.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/product/901523_Spectral-Intensity-Graph.pdf

For that size of a tent you need a 400w lamp to really get those plants back on track. I'd recommend a Metal Halide bulb too to offer more blue light and encourage vegetative mass (leaf/root) development.

With the low light levels you're going to also want to use low nutrient levels. Simply because the plants cannot use all that much nutrition. I'd also recommend flipping your ratios from 6/9 to 9/6 for the time being (or 4.5/3). The extra PK you're dropping on them isn't really helpful right now. What they seem to need to me is an N+Cal dominant ratio and the Micro is your source for this.

Best of luck.

Thanx... I actually have a 400 watt hps in there right above it...I was just trying to ease them back in with the 150. I was looking for a 150 w mh bulb so I could switch for a bit..but no luck and kinda over how f ed up these are so ill just use the hps meanwhile. Im not really caring about these since ill have some new babies comeing shortly. I will try the 4.5/3 though thx. If in vegging under t5s in the 2 x 4 tent should I not use 6/9 due to the low light.
And you are correct sir its a 3x3. (I had a 600 in there but was always pressing 85f and I dont use co2).

Ok I feed 4/3.5 to all plants and some seemed to burn. I feed with 20 percent. run off at 3/4.5 this time and well see what happens. Im to embarassed to take pics. (Actually im to pissed and sad) doesnt matter though I have new babys comming In tomorrow. Ill still try to save the messed up 1s because "a Good farmer can keep his farm green ... but a Great farmer can turn a badd farm back to green". Like I said all good. New babies will be in rock wool so ill hit em with eagle (hate me if u want) and pyrethrin to clean em up and ill start my 3/4.5 feed right away at 5.8 ph. Ill pre soak my coco at same ec and ph and 2nd feed will be after I transplant them into 2 gal coco smartpots in 4-5 days...then surgery in 7 days so it will be close. Rotater cuff labrium etc. Ill post pics tomorrow or thurs. Might have some additional surprises for you all as well.
Peace

Your plants were already burned.

4/3.5 is a very balanced ratio. 60ppm - 25ppm - 35ppm with 60ppm Ca and 16ppm Mg and it is not more food than your plants need.

Adding a few ppm of Nitrogen isn't "burning" your plants. Stay the course with a good nutrient solution and hang in there.

Water source?

What e.c was the mother getting if clone?

Next time you charge your coco hit it with
5ml cal mag or full strength 6/9 and .2 e.c of
Cal mag product.

How long is it taking the pots to dry?

Canna coco does not need any charging. It's good to go right out of the bag. Using tap water, I have never needed cal/mag.

Ty everyone. I was by no means blameing u Snow. I appreciate the help. And ive read some threads with your input and its easy to tell who knows what there talking about. Im just playing around with those 2 ratios. New clones I want to get into beer cups but it will be tough to transplant after surgery so ill prob go into 2 gals right away and treat it like soil feeding (let it get kinda dry) but nutes with every feeding. Ty for all replys..I like this site better than the last already.
P.s. all replys welcome, I can use the help.
Peace

@ retro you are using tap so you do not
Need calmag. It's in your tap.

How is it working out for you and what
Type of nutes do you use?

Is the op in tap or r.o?

But I use ro and the coco will pull the mag
OUt of my girls.

The only reason to use RO with Canna is if your tap water is devoid of minerals, which is unusual. I think it's the most common mistake that coco users make. It all depends on the type of coco. If it's Canna, tap works much better for me, and cheaper.
I use Maxibloom, K.I.S.S. method, with rhizotonic and silica, and add Bloombastic at the end for double the resin production.

My waters ppm is like 500 ..ya im in so cal. Chlorine chloramine flouride ..u name it I got it. So ro all the way for weeded1s. Everything else aside I like a blank slate and with proper nutrients and my icmag friends to help im finding that if u find a base nutrient that gives the plant what it needs than nothing else is needed. Imma go h3ad formula balls deep. Jus sayin. Jus me. Jus easy

So add some calmag to your sauce

You add calmag product first wait 10 min
Then add micro then 10 min then bloom.

Or just go with full strength 6/9 and see
What happens.

What are you picking up?
make sure You quarantine those bitches till you
Fully inspect for bugs.

Watch out for spider mites picking up clones is like getting herpes
The gift that keeps on giving.
