Just an idea of what has been going on in my grow room. I used Happy Frog as my last grow medium and The problem occured, same nutrients same setup and temps etc. I have switched to roots organics and now having the same problem. I did notice non of my nutes have calcium in them, I went and picked up some cal/mag thinking this might be my problem i have been feeding this for two weeks in strong dose and problem is slowing getting worse. 3 weeks ago they recived a 23gallon flush, the pots are 3 gallons. I did this because i started to see the signs of the problem occuring. I DID NOT fix this problem last time nor has anything worked this time. I have also used Advanced Nutriends "revive" to see if it worked with no luck. My ph meter says its 7.5 and when i take a test of the soil and shake it in the jar with distilled water and test the water it says 6.0ph..But my soil has just recenly jumped to this PH lvl. It has been at 6.5 for a considerable. This should not be a nute lock out. ALL my plants that are in soil are having this problem.

The problem starteds out as white dots being the veins on the bottom leaves. The spots are about pea size. they turn yellow and then turn to a rusty brown. Also during this process my Tips turn yellow and burn and curl as other leaves began to curl up. The problem moves its way up to the top and makes the total plant look burned up like heat but its not heat stress or anything. I have researched this problem for over the past 4 months with no sucess i would love to find a solution. I have read site and problem sites and threads and im still here. I would like to add gnats were around the garden possilbe they laid eggs but i let the soil compltetely dry out to help take care of them a bit. I do not foliage feed. My hydro plants are grow with the same nutrients with no problems. Might help as well.. thanks guys hope someone could fix this problem. i added 4 pic max the last pic i posted in the text is what it looks likes later on in the process.

I would say a burn, but those lines going across the leaves all perfectly horizontal are really odd.

Your humidity is low and your temps are high. That = lower nutrient levels, since the plants go through more nutrient solution because they are transpiring water, but don't need more nutrients. I am definately seeing specific signs of N overdose from those curling, overly soft/pliable leaves.

Soils generally contain plenty of Ca, as they use it to buffer ph, and Cal-Mag is notorious for being too strong, and has more N.

I think you need to back off on the nutes a little bit, maybe 1/2 of what you are using now. I think you also have another problem, which I can't tell, Although that may be it, since I don't generally have to worry about too low humidity

Here is how you properly check ph and tds in the soil: Water as usual, with nutrients. Wait 1/2 hour or so. Then water with 1/2 cup of whatever. This should push enough water out of your soil for you to get an oz or so, although it may take a few minutes. Check that. You can check your EC/TDS too. I will have to check a horticulture manual to get the proper EC levels, but they read really high, so don't freak out if it seems really high. The chart I have shows you what the ranges are and conversions.

Really though, it does look like gradual burn and lockout.

well I'd like to say it nutes but i just flushed and ever since then i havent used any nutes just watered..but i am in flowering the best Humidity is below 50%..yes soil has quite a bit of calcium in it..but soil only has about two to three weeks worth of minerals in it..so wouldent all the calcium be gone? i know cal mag is strong but a little here and there wouldnt hurt..and honestly i really have no used that much nutes..less than what they say to use..does this change your outlook any?

I had ph problems like a mofo... Looked just like that. Started feeding them with only RO water and had no issues after that. Not to say that's the case here, but the symptoms are the same.
