my cousin has one. it's pretty cool. softest animal i've ever touched. it loves to be scratched under its chin. it'll tilt its head back and just fall asleep.

chinchilla! They have some of the worlds densest fur. I believe there's so many hairs per inch that they cannot become infested with parasites like ticks. COol right??

i had a buddy that bought a pair of them for $400 for his gf at the time! he didn't separate them, "wrapped them" in their cage, and left them alone for the night... when she opened the present in the morning, she got the most expensive, war-torn, and bloody chinchilla this world has ever seen

that would make a really nice coat for this cold weather! They're pretty cool little rodents. As for the scarf question, it takes six minks to make a small mink coat, so maybe that will help estimate based on size.

My sister has a couple.....only a good pet for insomniacs...the little buggers sleep all day, and only run about in the wee small hours.

A mink is like a vicious stoat on crack btw....EVIL!!!!! Animal activists in the UK have a tendancy to free them from their farms, and they absolutely wreak havoc on the nearby natural ecosystem.
