@dubi I absolutely love this strain, I have always been very interested in pure Sativas, I just ordered some Oldtimer’s Haze from Attitude Seedbank, they only had one 5 pack left but I got it, I was just curious if you could tell me the genetics/parental lineage of the recent batch sent to Attitude Seedbank? I would greatly appreciate it. I also recently purchased Purple Haze x Malawi, any extra info would be great. very excited for both! Thank you for your work preserving these beautiful Sativas.

I understand that Oldtimer's haze can be challenging and induce anxiety or paranoia, curious if there are more gentle OT hybrids with more manageable and clean high?

I had very psychedelic, rushy hypnotic ones and also ones with the absolute opposit. Calming, kind, golden, strong but never challanging or scary. The high is also very clean an the kind ones have zero comedown for me while smoked during the day.
I would look for hybrids maybe for better indoor grow ability or different budstructure but never ever because of the effects.

Thanks for your support @mcrosby26 iirc I already replied to you about this by email. The last Oldtimer's Haze packs available were from Purple Haze #23 pollinated by a Green Haze male. Purple Haze x Malawi also has Purple Haze #23 as the mother (as stated in the strain description).

Hola @Tranquilidade Oldtimer's Haze effects are super clean (especially those from the Green Hazes) and cerebral, quite gentle in its 'pure' form, with zero body sedation, similar to a good Thai like our Chiang Mai. Don’t expect ultra potent plants from Oldtimer's Haze (as the line is very inbred), but it offers a high quality, ancient, pristine tropical sativa effect that is really hard to find nowadays. If i had to qualify some genetics as challenging for potency-effect, it would be Malawi or Golden Tiger.

Being so inbred, Oldtimer's Haze works best in hybrids, as hybridization of the tropical sativa allows for faster, more productive plants with much higher potency, cannabinoids, and terpenes, while still retaining many of the OTH qualities. Currently available in the catalog, Panama Haze, Purple Haze x Malawi and Haze x Kali China are great examples of this.

The old Green Honduras Haze limited edition release was amazing for clear, gentle, bright, uplifting, energetic, and positive effects, without a ceiling or sedation.

Unfortunately I had to take her down a bit early, at around week 15/16 of flowering. Termites and fungal infection in the root zone. It probably would have taken about 3 to 4 weeks more to reach her full potential but still got some nice flowers. It is curing now. Smell is developing nicely, basically 1:1 like Green Mango with lime, a popular snack here. Sticky stuff and I've got a good ball of finger hash while trimming. Made some ice water extraction with the smaller buds/trim as well and had a surprisingly good return for a pure sativa.
Couldn't resist and gave the bubble already a try and.. wow.. what a fantastic High it had! It felt like the start of a psychedelic journey. Energetic with a mild euphoria. Im a daily toker with high tolerance. Loong time ago since just a few initial hits from a joint have put an immediate grin on my face but this one made the job. Pretty trippy, uplifting, sometimes close to being racy but still cool for being social. By the second round my eyes got so incredibly red and heavy, I could barely keep them open although I didn't felt tired at all. Took the best option and laid in a hammock and let it flow. Lots of thoughts going trough my head until I floated away for about 90min in a kind of meditative state. Great experience but it made me very hungry afterwards, jajaja.

Still have two clones of the same plant growing and hope to reach full ripeness with them.

A pity you had to take her down a bit early @Costa but Im glad the effects from the bubble hash are so promising :) Despite your high tolerance, it’s great to hear you truly appreciate the clean, uplifting, and psychedelic tropical qualities of this special old sativa line.

Happy to hear you’ve kept clones alive for another run, hopefully next time they can reach full maturity without major issues. Enjoy!

High guys,
After seven weeks of veg, I decided to put my 6xOTH babies into flower. They are currently in week one of flower and I kept them in 1l pots to reduce their stretch. In two weeks or so I wanted to up pot them and wondered what the final potsize should be considering that my space is 100x80x200 cm (lengh x width x height)
Thank you for your help guys. This is my first time growing tropical sativas indoors. Excited!
This is a picture of them two weeks ago:
