Old Genetics for Outdoor Grows

Artistick Seeds

Could be different smells are interpretated in different ways by different people. For as far as I recollect it was sweet, earthy, bit fruity.

But as far as description go the plants were spot on with those of the old Erdbeer. Stalky, upwarth leaves, very thight leafy nugs. I only grew a few, but seemed quite stable.

But again: its only hear say from my part, because I never had the privilige to try the original old clone.

I see seedstockers also brought out a feminized version of Erdbeer, which is also advocated as strawberry scented.

Didn't try it yet, could be its just advertisement or the real deal. Its actually a good seedbank, so I might give them a try once. Most other stuff I tried from them (Critical Bilboa XXL/Mohammed) was top notch for fair pricing.

I think Ierdbei is an erdpurt crossed with other outdoor performers like Black Domina, Jack Herer, Citral and Swiss Miss. Not much strawberry going on there either.
What if what we were being sold as "strawberries" was actually bubble gum?
In the Swiss city of Biel, there was a coffee shop called Bubble Gum, by the way...

I was reading a Swiss forum about Erdbeer and Purpurea Ticinesis and the origin of the strains seems to be somewhat unknown.

But lots of people had grown clones of Erdbeer back in the day, and many attested to the seeming legitimacy of Green Hornet Seeds (no longer in business) seed version. The story from that guy is that, in a field of Erdbeer clones, one plant produced male flowers. Some folks say some theories about hermie genes or some such, I say God is good and leave it at that.

Anyway, never read anything but good remarks about the Green Hornet guy's character. People believe his story, and the seeds he sold were well reputed. He called it "Original Swiss Strawberry"

Ape Origin (I believe they used to be OriginSeeds or some such) now has produced seeds using a male from old Green Hornet seeds that they crossed with an Erdbeer clone. These are the seeds I have.

I cannot say for sure whether the Knopse/CannaTech Erdbeer was the original or not. He too seems to be well reputed, but I also think I remember reading that he and CannaTech did their best to re-create Erdbeer. I don't know, could be totally off. But I feel pretty good about the Ape Origin version from all the reading I did.

Holy shit. It appears that Green Hornet himself is producing and selling seeds again, including Erdbeer.
