I know how the rep system works and all....but all the squares under avatars have me confused. Why two different colors? Positive vs Negative?

Enlighten me please

Green is positive...and each square equals 100 rep points I think, grey means the person has chosen to not participate in the "reputation" system.

I think those are the only colors...

Its the diff between some rep and lots of rep. If you hold your mouse over the green dots they say diff things too.

If the user has a grey square its just turned off, they still get the points and the msg....it just doesn't show how many points they have.

Some leave theirs turned on and some leave it off, its up to the individual.

More specifically, I was more curious of the two different shades of green. Notice in yours(mrs babba) and verites there are two different shades of green? Thats the ones im trying to figure out.

If you want some figures my 5 dots of dk green and 4 dots of lt green represents 1,100 total rep points. Everyones will do the same. Once you get 5 dk green dots the next one you'll get is a lt green one. to my knowledge they dont mean anything different. I think 2000 is the cap.

Nothings different.. I still get blank stares when I walk into the room. Then I drop my drawers and take a crap on the table and everyone goes, " Hey, its Verite. "

There are actually 4 colors.

Dark green, light green, which are both good.

and Dark red and orange, which are both negative
