Whats up Bigscoot...So far i have just been feeding them according to the GH "GO" schedule on regular or light feeding recommendations.... 10ml bio bloom, 2.5ml bio bud, 5ml CaMg+, 5ml Bio Root and so far no ill effects. I will prob bump up the bloom and booster a lil bit next time and see how they react. Flowers are coming on nicely now too....U will see a big diff when i update again later this week! Peace

Flowering - Day 28

Flowering - Day 28

okay weekly update....Alot has happened over the past week :) i collected a lil pollen from one male SSSG that i had growing still (have 3 other diff males as clones still too) This one in particular was the most vigorous of the bunch and had the strongest odor to it...more of a skunky/lemon smell to it. Unfortunately i didnt bother to take any pics before i chopped it down lol. So anyways i dusted a lil pollen on each of the ladies i have flowering now for some F2's....by the looks of it the pollen took and seed pods are forming on all of them :) Plan is to hopefully get enuff to keep me happy and send a few in as freebies or pass around to some friends.

Now back to the normal stuff.... Its around 4 weeks since i've flipped the lights to 12/12 and stretch has ceased lol They were fed again yesterday shortly after i snapped the pics. Its been a one on one off schedule for them (water, feed, water) lately and just yesterday I increased the bloom feeding by 5 ml per gal....in between the light and heavy according to the GH feed schedule. Other than that not much else new to report....I did notice a lemony smell on most of them when i touched near the buds...and gettin sticky too! Well enuff of my rambling...here are some pics. Hope everyone has a good weekend!

Dude could you just explain how you make your seeds because I want to do that too but don't know how. Just outline how you take the pollen from the male and then put it on the female? Where do you put it? Will seeds form in areas other than where you put the pollen or just in that section? Appreciate the info!

I'm thinking of popping a pack of the SSSDH, they look tasty.

Your plants are looking good, you've managed the stress very well. How tall are they now?

Hey Gonzo i just shook some of the pollen and flowers off the male plant i had and applied some to a qtip and brushed it on some of the lower branches...as far as height goes the tallest is a lil over 2 feet and 2 others at around 2' with #4 at about a foot and half. Pheno #1 branches well on its own and required the least amount of training to get it like that....just a matter of directing the stems to where i want them ;) Check the begining of the thread u will see what i mean.

Whats up OJD... well i was goin for some of the lower branches but with air movement in the room who knows if it got some of the other parts. Yea the orange hairs were a tell tale sign that it worked... At this point im not too concerned as im sure either way the smoke will be good & enuff to keep me happy til the shark haze and stink bombs are done a month or so later.... and i got another round of SSSG cuts veggin out now that will be ready to go into flower by mid dec...man i wish i had more room to flower lol. All these ladies and not enuff space. Peace

hahaha...I looked at the pictures without reading, and my first thought instantly raced to the dying pistillate....hahaha. I was like....okay...where'd the pollen come from...

HUSTON...we have a problem!!! OH NO!!! HAHAHA. But then I read, and you confirmed my diagnosis...glad to know it was intentional...lol.

Only down side to this, is we won't be seeing these girls pump out the maxxxxed quality buds...but seed is NEVER anything to complain about...hehehe....well, when done intentionally of course. Congrats on a successful hump day!

As OJD has said, your training on these plants is top notch and you can tell they took to it really well. I also notice the G13/Haze male doesn't appear to be dominant in this cross; in a few other thread with OJD gear, after reading enough of them and studying the pics / comments, I'd say the male is a bit dominant in some of the crosses....looks to have meet a great balance in this particular line. I suppose thought, that is to be expected when combining to predominantly sativa lines....thoughts on that at all?

Yea man it seems like its gona be a let down for everyone who wanted to see big fat seedless buds lol....but they should still fill in and be decent sized buds. I do have clones of each vegging out now and they will prob be ready to flower by the time these 4 come down late next month...So stay tuned for the next round! Then we will see how they do minus the pollen! Take care
